I quietly sat on the bar stool by the kitchen counter with my hands folded on the countertop while I watched Kuya Nico walk around my kitchen, making coffee quite noisily I might add. He placed the coffee pot in the machine with such force that I feared he might break it.
"Kuya, ako na lang kaya diyan." I suggested and started to get up when I silently commanded myself to sit back down with my brother's stern glare.
"Ako na." He said coldly. "I said I would make you a cup of coffee so I'm making you one."
