CHAPTER 32

2249 Words

• Eya • Our parents mean everything to us. Because of them only today we exist in this world. Our existence is only because of them. Not only this, but also they sacrifice everything to keep us happy. But, what if your parents are like mine? Not an ideal, but narcissistic. The kind of parents who manipulates your choice of words, lifestyle, do's and dont's, likes or dislikes. In other word, you're life. My parents were someone who lives through, is possessive of, and/or engages in marginalizing competition with me and my twin sister. Basically, life is all about them and everything they do (or want you to do) is done to satisfy their needs. Oftentimes, it's hard to recognize our narcissistic parent because they are most disguised as caring people who immerse themselves in our lives.
