Soleil’s POV
I DIVERTED my eyes and attention elsewhere. Mabilis din akong umatras para makalayo sa kanya kahit kaunti. Kahit ako nagulat sa naging reaksiyon ko. Bakit ba kasi ang hilig ng lalaking ‘to sa mga ka-corny-han?
“Do you want me to bring you home, chikababes?” he offered.
Wala nang saysay ang manatili pa ako rito, and besides, I’ve had enough of this night. So much has happened, and I can’t even tell what’s real anymore.
I nodded in response.
“Halika na, ako na ang maghahatid sa ‘yo. Baka mamaya pa uuwi ang Dad mo,” he said again. I didn’t argue; all I wanted now was to go home and lock myself in my room. I needed to think and clear my mind.
