Chapter 14: Engaged?

Dane's POV
"I wish I know..."she said.
You will... soon.
She fall asleep so fast. This is why she can't be with other guys except her guy friends dahil baka pag samantalahan siya.
I chuckled when I heard her snore. I stood up and clean the can of beers at the table. I looked at Cleo who's currently laying down on the couch with her starfish position. I should've gave her boxers shorts, I can see her panties from here.
"Damn it Cleo." I said and went to my room to get some blanket.
Pinatong ko sa kanya 'yon at ngumiti. I really love this girl, she doesn't know how precious she is to me. I'm just protecting her, everything will be fine soon.
"Dane..."
She's dreaming of me? I chuckled and moved her hair away from her face. I'm madly... in love with her. She looks so much mature now. What if the wedding really happened? I bet we'd be happy with our children.
It's now 4am. I carried her back to my room so she could sleep comfortably. I opened one lamp and turned off all the lights. Humiga ako sa sofa malapit sa kama at tinitigan siya.

Cleo's POV
I opened my eyes. I feel so weak, maybe because of all the emotional stress yesterday. Bakit parang ang tigas ng kama ni Troy?
"Ahhh!" I shouted when I realized I'm on top of Troy.
What the hell am I doing? Ang naalala ko lang naguusap kami kagabi, umiiyak ako and that's all! Bakit nandito na ako? Okay pa kung nasa living room ako nakatulog pero here?
"Oh, you're awake. Good morning!" He said and smiled.
Kanina pa siya gising? Tumakbo ako sa banyo at inayos nag mukha ko. I heard him laughed.
"Shut up! I can hear you!" Sigaw ko and he stopped laughing.
I feel like I'm getting addicted to his scent. Pagkalabas ko ay wala na siya. Buti naman at naisipan niya din lumabas ng kwarto. Sinilip ko siya sa labas and he's cooking breakfast!
I remember how he took care of me back then like cooking me foods that I want. He looks good at any outift. Ngayon ay naka black shirt lang siya at boxers.
He carried the meal he cooked and placed it on the table. I realized, we're both wearing the same shirt. We look like husband and wife.
"You know I can hear you." Tawa niya.
Now that I know he's really Dane, he's not pretending anymore and he can invade my thoughts anytime. Ugh! Nakakainis!
"Bakit nakapatong ako sa'yo?"
Teka... ang sagwa pakinggan n'on!
"Ask youself, miss." He said and raised his eyebrow.
How could I remember? I was so tired and sleepy.
"I carried you back to my room last night since you fell asleep at the couch."
I kind of remember I fall asleep at the couch pero hindi ko alam na binuhat niya ako papunta sa kwarto since I was sleeping.
"I was about to sleep, at the couch near the bed and you... suddenly stood up calling my name like crazy and land in me. I can't move and I might wake so hinayaan nalang kita since I wasn't sleepy."
It means... he didn't sleep? Mas nakakahiya 'yon! He can hear my snore and... argh! Cleo you're so embarrassing!
"I-I'm sorry." I said.
"Why? I enjoyed it though." Pilyo niyang sabi. I pouted and glared at him. Tumayo ako para hampasin siya, but he ran away. Tumawa siya at ako naman ay inis na inis na hinahabol siya.
I stopped when I remember this is how we started, yung pangaasar niya sa'kin.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
I shook my head.
"Kumain na tayo." I forced a smile.
Baka bukas ay uuwi na din kami since medyo tumitila na ang ulan. I won't be running away anymore. I'm willing to give him another chance.
I will still build my walls so I wouldn't be in so much pain when this goes wrong. I dried my clothes para makapag palit man lang ako bago kami umalis.
"I asked someone to buy clothes for you and you're bag is also there." He said.
"Salamat." Sabi ko at tinanggap ang paper bag na hawak niya.
"I rebooked a flight. Wala ng ulan and we can leave."
That's good then. May part sa'kin na ayaw ko umalis pero gusto ko din umalis since I don't want us to have close interactions. Parang yung nangyari kanina, gusto ko iwasan 'yon.
He's now taking a bath. Lumabas muna ako to see the ocean once again. Pumikit ako at dinama ang malamig na hangin. I will surely visit here next time, pero hindi na dito sa resort na 'to.
Clearing your thought in front of this view and the fresh air crawling to your skin feels good.
"Let's go?"
Lumingon ako kay Dane. He's carrying his luggage. Ako wala na akong bagahe kaya ang tanging dala ko lang ay ang sling bag ko.

Bigla ako nalungkot nung makita ko yung mga buildings. I don't know why. I don't want to go home yet.
"We're here." He said.
I forced a smiled and walk towards a car near us. This is his car, may driver lang na iba.
The car stopped in front of the hotel. How did he know I live here? Wala akong naalalang sinabi sa kanya kung saan ako nakatira--Oh! Probably on my resume.
Pinagbuksan ako ng pinto ng driver and Dane was about to go out to but I stopped him.
"It's okay. I can go inside by myself. Thank you." I said and bow my head down.
I heard him sighed. Pumasok na ako sa loob ng hotel at hindi na siya nilingon pa.
Nagising ako dahil sa liwanag ng kwarto ko. It's already night pero bakit tirik na tirik yung araw? I looked at my phone and... Oh my God! It's 7:30! Umaga na! I forgot I have work today!
I ran towards the bathroom and dressed myself up. Luckily, nakakuha kaagad ako ng uber. Hindi rin traffic? What kind of luck am I hitting today?
Pag pasok ko sa office medyo maingay sila at parang may pinag-uusapan. Well halos araw-araw naman silang may chismis.
"You might not want to disturb the couple,"
Lumingon ako sa nag salita. Lawrence? What the hell?
"I just brought Allison here." He said and smiled.
"Allison? Who is Allison?"
"Troy's fiancé. If you don't believe me then, take a look."
Sumilip ako and it's true... Dane's kissing this girl inside his office. What the hell? Galit siyang tinulak ni Troy. I hate it.
I hate how she kissed him like she could do that anytime she wants. Binalik ko ang tingin ko kay Lawrence at inirapan siya.
