RAMDAM ko ang panginginig ng mga kamay ko sa binitiwang mga salita ni Sander. Something in me died as I stared at his eyes full of pain and fears.
I couldn’t even find the right words to say so I stayed quiet until he started telling me his painful past.
Iba’t-ibang emosyon ang naramdaman ko habang pinapakinggan siya.
At first, shocked because I didn’t expect what happened to him.
Then, anger for the woman who made him suffered.
But above all, pain.
Ramdam kong nahihirapan siya sa pagkwekwento pero nagpatuloy pa rin siya.
How her father’s mistress induced him with drugs. How she abused him.
“For three days, s-she imprisoned me in that house. I-I was weak, and I didn’t know—”
“I understand kung hindi mo na ipagpapatuloy pa, Sander.”
