We're into clothing line and every year, we're hiring freelance models to ramp to our stage wearing our owned designs clothes. Kung ako lang ang magsu-suot, I just wanted a simple wedding gown. I sighed then closed my eyes. Kaya mo iyan." I told myself with full of determination. I sighed again then slowly opened my eyes. I looked at my sketchpad and let my hands to their job along with my mind. I added details with my heart. I smiled upon the idea that's running through my mind right now. I excitedly walk out of my room and ran to my Dad's room. I was holding my sketchpad but I stopped when I saw him sitting on the couch, and he's not alone. He's with Bea. I didn't move and let myself watch them. "Is that a wedding gown?" Dad asked. My eyebrows automatically formed into a straight line. "Yep!" She answered like a kid. And maybe, I could help her out." She added. Napatawa ako sa isipan ko. Pasipsip. Puro pasipsip. Nakangiti pang pinakita ang sketchpad kay Daddy. Ito namang isa, nagpapauto lagi! "This is such a beautiful gown hija. With all the details. It looks so expensive yet worth it." Daddy commented. Ulol. Parang pusang naipit! "Of course. I was thinking, once in a lifetime lang po siya. Maybe clients would love to buy this one. Bea proudly explained. Tumawa lang si daddy at tumango. Oh Jesus. "Okay. We'll let Frances know about this. He said. "Thanks Daddy!" She giggled as she kissed his cheeks. Plastic. I let my sketchpad be on my arm to let him know that I already have my own ideas. I fake a smile. "Good morning, anak." He greeted and smiled. "Anyway, tell to Naveen and Fhax to come to our big event." He started. Our company always have this one big event every year as a repay to our employee’s good work. Tatlong araw ito para magrelax at mag-unwind. We let everyone enjoy their free time as we work on the first day by making charitable works from the big event. I just nodded and I'm about to hand him my pad when he first showed up Bea's pad. Putangina. "Look at this gown. It'll be perfect for the ultimate. Or you can have yours too. Kapag may iba ka pang gusto." Dad said that made me feel worse. It has little details that's rare. Do you have your ideas with you?" He asked. “I already have.” I answered. “At kompleto na ang deigns ko.” Sumulyap ako kay Bea. "Bea's just trying to help you. I asked with full of sarcasm. "Frances anak, don't take my words into negative. I just want you two to help one another." He tried to reach me out but I take one step backwards. I'm disappointed. "No." I shook my head. "This is mine. And I already proved myself to you, years ago. I ran as fast as I could towards my room. I grabbed my bags and keys and get way out. Seems like I need alcohol for the fresh wound inside me. ----- Third Person's POV "Kuya! Nadine teased. He just laughed a bit and glances at Nadine. Gelo asked then chuckled. Nadine just make a face. You know, you can have all those girls if you want to. Malay mo sa'yo. Nasa gilid-gilid lang..." She said but used a soft voice to her last sentence. Gelo turn his face to her and gave him a malicious look. "Stop what you're trying to figure out baby." He warned. Nadine just laughed hard. "Oopss. I didn't name names yet. May pumasok na agad sa isipan mo? Wow. You're so intelligent talaga, Kuya!" She added then clapped her hands. Nadine asked out of the blue. Gelo immediately said. Mas lalong natawa si Nadine. "And Kuya Gelo, I didn't say that either. I just told you maybe your special someone is already around you, around you. Okay? I didn't tell it'll be Ate Aira." She chuckled. Gelo just frowned. "But you know sometimes, action speaks louder than words. Sometimes, the heart's stronger than the brain. And smart people can be a fool." Nadine said again then looked at him. He just massaged his temple. "Oh kid, not me." He snorted and she just smiled, receiving a beautiful lie.
