A WEEK later, I found myself extricating myself from Keith’s tight embrace in the middle of the night. Ayokong gisingin siya at sana’y hindi siya magising sa ginagawa ko. He’s been a little exhausted lately. Adeline needed help with his father’s company so he’d been working tirelessly in his office in the villa to try and help out.
Ipina-cremate ni Adeline ang bangkay ni Atlas Nixon. They said that he died of a car accident going to the airport. Ayon na rin sa kagustuhan nito, hindi na nagkaroon pa ng funeral service si Atlas. Keith didn’t get the chance to go back to Manila to see his Dad. And it had been a worrisome journey for me to see Keith bottling up his emotions like that.
