I’VE BEEN CALLING HEIRO. Pero hindi niya sinasagot ang cellphone niya. Kinakabahan na ako. Hindi ko alam kung bakit. O kung dapat ba. But the look on Mom’s face, her frown, and her weary eyes as she listened to what the police officers are saying gave me chills. And it’s starting to worry me.
Hindi pa natatapos ang mga pulis na kumuha ng statement galing kay Mom. I don’t exactly know what they are after. Basta ang alam ko, nag-iimbestiga sila sa car accident na nangyari. If it was really an accident or not.
I want to believe that it was indeed an accident. An unfortunate circumstance. A devastating loss. An accident no one would want to happen in the first place. But maybe that’s not really the case. Kung ang sinasabi ng mga police ang pagbabasehan.
