RC13: Their Performance

Chapter 13

Lana’s POV

“Sana hindi magising si Rimjae.” Ria said while looking at the baby boy in her arms

“Edi namatay yan pag di nagising.” Elle said sarcastically

“I mean sana hindi magising dahil sa ingay.” Ria said calmly

Between the two of them, obviously Rianna is the calm, understanding and mature one while Rielle is the sarcastic, sss, and playful daredevil.

“Kung di ka ba man tanga. Sukat isama ta’s sasabihin mo na sana hindi magising.” Elle said and rolled her eyes

“Viole!” Ria chastised and smacked Elle’s head though she’s holding Rimjae in her arms.

“What’s that?” Jaerim asked us

“Nothing.” Ria said while sending daggers to Elle’s direction

 “Mommy Anna, what’s tanga?” Rimiel asked and we tried not to burst out laughing

Even the boys who are hearing us.

“It’s nothing.” Ria said

“But Mommy Elle..” Rimiel said and looked like she was about to cry

“Ah Rimiel, that’s a name of a juice, but it’s just tang.” Thunder said and we sat down

“Tang?” She asked innocently

“You're Kuya Robin’s uncle.” Rimiel said in recognition

“Yes I am.” Thunder said and ruffled Rimiel’s hair

“Miel, just sit down.” Elle said and made Rimiel sit on her lap

“You have a sharp memory.” Thunder commented

“Kuya Robin always chitchat about it.” Jaerim said

 “Where’s Mommy, Tita?” Rimiel asked Icelle

I still can’t move on from what had just happen.

Gosh, she acts like Mia; naive and innocent.

“They’re preparing back stage.” Aira answered

“*pout. She not home yesterday.” Rimiel said

“Don’t worry, Rimiel, she’s alright. We just had our adult sleepover. Next time we’ll ask her to bring you too.” I said

“They fought again?” Jaerim asked and we girls paled

This kid is smart. Just like what his father and mother said

“They didn’t.” Jade said

“Kojimal.” He muttered and ignored us

Damn the kid’s so smart.

“Mama.... mama..” Rimjae mumbled while moving

“Shh. Yes Rimjae we’re going to Mama.” Ria said and lulled Rimjae

“He’s already 1 year old right?” I asked her

“Almost. They’re growing up fast. Especially this little boy here.” Ria said and pinched Jaerim’s cheek

“Kayo yung bumisita kay Mia, last time.” Elle told the boys

“Ah oo. Kami yun.” Thunder said

“Kambal ba kayo?” Sky asked Ria and Elle

“Hindi. -_-.” Elle answered while wearing her poker face

“Obvious ba, Sky?” Thunder said and smacked Sky’s head

“Are you siblings?” Rimiel asked them

“No, were not.” Ice answered

“But why smack each other’s head?” She asked innocently

“Ah because were like sibling. Not by blood but by bond.” Cloud answered

“Will they be here?” Rimiel asked us

“Might be.” Icelle answered

“Oh before I forgot I’m Rianna Smirnov.” Ria introduced herself

“Rielle.” Elle said shortly

“Rielle..” Neith seemed to remember someone because of that name

When the event started, just like what Rainiellaine said they were the first to perform

Rainiellaine was on the guitar and Mia is on the piano.

“Hello Seasonial Academy!” Mia greeted with her microphone

“So we’re not extending this any longer, I am Anzhel Mianna Ceres, 3rd year Psychology Student.” Mia introduced

“Amber Rainiellaine Lopez, Business Management, 4th year.” Rainiellaineintroduced

Rainiellaine started strumming her guitar while Mia started playing the piano keys.

“GO MOMMY!!” Rimiel and Jaerim cheered

Actually, Rimiel just forced Jaerim earlier

“Go Rainiellaine!!/ Ray!!” We cheered for Rainiellaine

The twins, Ria and Elle likes calling Rainiellaine ‘Ray’. They said her name is too long.

“Go Mia!/ Anzhel!/ Sis!” We also cheered that one for Mia

Mia:

Looks like many students liked their voice

“Next time nalang.” She said and they went off the stage

After their performance, Mia and Rainiellaine went here.

“You both were great out there, Ray, Mi.” Ria said

“Ate Ianna si Rainiellaine lang noh.” Mia said

“Pa humble as always.” Rainiellaine said

“Hi baby.” Mia said and took Rimjae from Ria’s arms

“I’m sure nagustuhan ni Rimjae yung kanta niyo.” Aira said

“Aira, the kid doesn’t even know the meaning.” Rainiellaine said

“Ang galing niyo pala kumanta.” Thunder praised the two

“Not much. / Hindi naman.” The two said in chorus

“Bakit nga pala kayo nandito?” Mia asked Ria and Elle

“Pinanood ka, besides hinahanap ka ng mga bata.” Ria answered

“Ah.” She said while nodding

“Mommy...” Rimiel called and hugged Mia

“Are you still mad at Daddy?” she asked

The boys seemed to look worried

Who wouldn’t?

A kid 3 years of age just asked her mom if her mother is mad at her father.

“Anieyo. I’m not.” Mia answered then gave back Rimjae to Ria

She carried Rimiel and kissed her cheeks.

“I wouldn’t because we love you; we love you, Jaerim and Rimjae.” Mia explained

“Sige na ate, babalik na kami sa backstage.” Mia said then they went backstage

Only Rainiellaine understand her. They’re like sisters, though Mia’s closer with Ria and Elle and Rainiellaine’s closer with us,

After all of the performances, the emcee went to the stage.

“Ang gagaling naman po talaga ng mga contestants natin.”He said

“Palakpakan naman po natin sila. Hindi ganoon kadali ang ginawa nila noh.” He said and we clapped out hands

“Kwentuhan muna tayo dali. Mula sa pinakadulo.” He said then they began asking some questions.

Wait. As I’ve remember this is a talent show, not a pageant.

“So what’s your name, girls?” the emcee asked

“Hello po. I’m Amber Rainiellaine Lopez, 21 years of age.” Rainiellaine said and waved

“Hi Everyone! I’m Anzhel Mianna Ceres. 20 years old.” Mia said

“Anong year and course? Ikaw muna Amber.” He asked again

“4th Year, Business Management.” She answered while smiling

“Ikaw naman, Anzhel.” The emcee said

“3rd year Psychology student.” Mia answered

“Kayo ba ay may mga jowa?” he asked them

The two exchanged glances then laughed

“Who needs that when you have the best friends.” Rainiellaine said

“So single kayo?” he asked the two of them

“Nope. Hindi po kami motor.” Mia said

“Meron po siya.” Rainiellaine said

“Huh? Kelan pa?” Mia asked

“Tong dalawang toh. Now let’s announce malamang wala na ang kaba ninyo.” He said

The representative gave the envelope.

“And the winning contestant is ............ CONTESTANT #1! Amber Rainiellaine Lopez of Business Management Dpt. and Anzhel Mianna Ceres of Psychology Department.” He announced then gave the trophy to the two.

“So who do you dedicate this award to?” he asked the two

“We dedicate this award to ... OUR FRIENDS!” the two said in chorus and pointed us

They went down here and Mia took Baby Rimjae

After the closing remarks we were allowed to go home.

I looked at Cloud whose currently walking alongside me.

I want to befriend him – them. We want to befriend them.

“You want to join us?” Aira offered the boys when we were in the parking lot

“Where?” the boys asked

“I-ce-celebrate namin yung pagkapanalo nina Rainiellaine.” Aira answered

“Game.” The boys agreed

“How about you, Ria? Elle?” Jade asked the two

“We can’t attend.” Ria, Elle and Mia said in chorus

“Why not?” I asked them

It’s unusual for them to decline celebrations, especially Mia.

“Dad wants us to go to Delcruss, he want us to bring the kids with us.” Ria said

“Ah have a safe trip.” We said

We went home and prepared for the celebration.

Rainiellaine’s the one who cooked. It’s just simple delicacies: carbonara, cake, salad.

She made a fruit juice then prepared the table.

“Wow ang linis.” Sky commented

We suddenly heard several footsteps descending the stairs.

“Who are you?” suddenly a voice from upstairs asked

“MOM?!” Jade asked surprised
