Rainiellaine’s POV
“MOM?!” I saw Jade’s shocked expression
“Welcome home for me then.” She said and smiled
“Okaerinasai, Aunt Aisha.” We said in chorus
(Translation: Welcome back, Aunt Aisha)
She liked hearing us speak Japanese. She said it’s cute and amazing.
“These guys must be your friends.” She said
“Hello, ma’am.” The boys said in chorus
“Your too formal. Call me Tita Aisha.” She told them and chuckled lightly
“What are you doing here, Mom?” Jade asked her mother
“I came to check on you girls, I heard your brother is here, Icelle.” She said
“So what’s the celebration for?” she asked while looking at the food we prepared
“Rainiellaine and Mia won in the talent show earlier.” Lana answered
“Oh. Where’s Mia then?” she asked
“They had to go. Their father summoned them.” I said
“So’ka.” She said
(Translation: I see)
“What are we waiting for? Ittadekamasu.” She said and we went to the dining table
We ate while talking then after eating Icelle washed the dishes with Sky. Well Sky volunteered to help Icelle.
Jade is talking to her Mom with Neith then Aira and Thunder are in the Mansion’s library, I heard Thunder is looking for a certain book while Lana and Cloud are in the veranda on the second floor, I think.
Ice and I are here in the garden.
“You have a great voice.” Ice told me
“Thank you.” I said
I look at him while he’s looking somewhere else. I want to befriend him.
Oh well, here goes nothing.
“Ice, can we be friends? You see, apart from Keith or Fuego, I don’t have a guy friend.” I asked him
“Why?” he asked
“Nothing. I just want to be your friend.” I said
“Okay.” He answered
Oh well, she already told me that this person answers shortly.
“Thank you. Um to be formal. I’m Amber Rainiellaine Lopez, and you are?” I said formally
“Rain Ice Hamilton.” He said
“Nice to meet you, Rain.” I said and offered my hand
“Same to you, Amber.” He said and took my hand
After we shook hands I laughed at our craziness.
“You’re the girl last summer.” He said
“Yeah, I was that person who bumped into you.” I said
“Great coincidence, Rainie.” He said pertaining to our names
“Yes, your first name is Rain and my second name is Rainiellaine.” I agreed
We fell silent until he decide to break it.
“Rainie..” he called
“Yes, why?” I asked
“Can I pick you up tomorrow?” he asked
“Hmm? What for?” I asked confused
Aira said when a boy picks up a girl from their house it means he want to protect her and they are in a relationship or they have mutual feelings.
“I just need your help with something.” He said
“Uh okay sure.” I said
He’s my friend why not help him, right?
He’s probably just joking.
Who among the people in the whole world would pick up a girl he don’t court nor like?
We stayed there for a couple minutes more then we decided to come in
“Saan kayo nanggaling?” Aira asked when we went inside
“Garden.” Ice answered
“Ah.” Aira said while nodding
“Tara na Ice.” Thunder told Ice then turned to me
“Congrats uli.” He said
“Thank you.” I said then escorted them out
“Bye, Rain.” I said
“Bye, Rainie.” He said then rode his car and left
I went inside after I closed the gates.
“How’s the new school?” Aunt Aisha asked us
We are currently here in the living room, Aunt Aisha want to talk to us about something.
“It’s great.” I answered
“Boring.” Jade and Lana replied
“Usual.” Aira said
Well Icelle didn’t answer but she shrugged
“Anyways, I heard the five of you are planning to study here until you graduate, is that true this time?” she asked seriously
We told her last time that we’ll study in New Jadecry until we graduate but we went here and transferred
“Not sure.” We replied in chorus
She stared at us before she spoke.
“Pearl. Diamond. Jade. Emerald. Amber.” She called us with worry
Well she likes calling us with our gemstone names.
“All of us want to go up that stage and give you your diplomas, but how are we going to do that if none of the five of you want to settle in one place?” she asked worried
“We understand, Aunt Aisha. We just want to have a little fun that’s all.” Lana answered
“I know that, Emerald, but you can have fun without transfering from one school to another, you almost toured all the schools in the world. Yale, Oxford, Harvard and so much more.” She said and looked at each of us
“Please understand that all we want is to see you girls successful and stable. You girls are will not be staying young forever. You’ll have your families soon.” She told us and smiled
“And I do hope that you’ll finally graduate here. It’s your last year afterall.” Aunt Aisha said
“Did I make myself clear?” she asked us
“Crystal Aunt/Mom.” We replied and she smiled and stood up
“Good night, girls.” She said
“Good night, Aunt./Mom.” We replied
When she descended upstair we sat down
Aunt Aisha’s words affected all of us
“Have we really gotten too far?” Aira asked
“Maybe.” Icelle answered
“Maybe not. Because if we did, probably they brought us back to our home countries.” Lana said
“Or my strict brother’s here.” I said
We went upstairs then went to our respective rooms.

I woke up at the sound of knocks on my door.
Probably Aunt Aisha.
I did my morning rituals then I went out of my room.
“Morning, Aira, Jade, Lana, Icelle.” I greeted
“Moning Rainiellaine / Morning.” They replied
We descended downstairs and we saw Aunt Aisha preparing the table
“Good Morning, Aunt Aisha./ Mom.” We greeted except from Icelle
“Good Morning, girls. Eat up. By the way, I’m leaving at noon, I have to meet up with an investor.” She said
“Have a safe trip, Aunt.” We said
After eating we went out of the house. I was about to ride the van when my phone rang

“Hello?” I said after I accepted the call
I didn’t bothe finishing the song like the usual since it’s an unknown number
“I’m here in front of your gate.” He said
“What? I thought you were just joking.” I gapped
“I mean it. I need your help.” he said
“Ahm, Aira, You should go ahead.” I told them
“Hmm? Why?” she asked
“I need to do something first. Go ahead.” I said
“Okay.” She said
“Will you be alright?” Lana asked
“Yep.” I said and then Aira drove away
“Hey are you still there?” I asked
“Yeah.” He said
“I’ll be coming. Wait for a bit.” I said and closed the garage door then went to the front door
“Your still here, Amber?” Uh oh
I turned around to face Aunt Aisha
“Yes, Aunt. I forgot something but I’m going already.” I said and kissed her cheeks
“Bye, Aunt.” I said and ran towards the front gate
“What do you need?” I asked him the moment I rode his car
“I need a girl’s preference.” He said and started driving
“Why?” I asked
“I’m buying a gift.” He said
Ah he must be courting someone. Why do I suddenly feel heavy?
