Chapter 14

Viktoria’s POV

”Good morning!” Ngiting bati niya na kung saan ‘yung ngiti niya ay nakakaasar.

I looked up to him just then he kissed my cheek.

Dahil sa usapan kagabi ay hindi niya tuloy ako tinitigilan at mukhang hanggang ngayong umaga!

“Mornin’” Ngumuso ako.

“My wife’s morning is not good?” Tanong niya habang nagtitimpla ng kape.

I rolled my eyes and he just chuckled.

“Ito ba ‘yung tinutukoy mo na ginagawa ng mag-asawa?” Tanong niya kaupo sa hapag-kainan.

I looked at him intently. I smiled sarcastically and he smiled back while raising his brows.

Tingin ko talaga ay hindi niya na ako titigilan niyan…

We both went to work now and I was quietly…mind you… quietly minding my own business not until he sent me a take-out through my secretary. Okay na sana kaso may note.

”Is this what you’re talking about? I’m sending you a lunch made with an Engineer’s touch ;)”

I rolled my eyes and got my phone quickly to message him.

Viktoria: Really now?

Elijah: Is that not the Engineer’s touch you want?

I groaned at gusto ko na siyang i-block sa inis.

Viktoria: Pag ako nainis hindi talaga ako uuwi mamaya :)

Tinignan ko ang schedule niya sa phone ko para malaman bakit ganado mag chat ngayon ‘to. Oo, hawak na rin namin ang schedule ng isa’t isa para hindi na namin i-contact ang mga secretary namin.

Viktoria: You’re in a meeting right now kaya puwede ba focus ka diyan?

Elijah: Hm? Talking with Engineers are getting boring recently. I want an Architect’s touch with this meeting.

”That’s it.” Bulong ko.

Viktoria: Block muna kita :) At least nag paalam ako.

Then I clicked block.

Wala pang isang minuto ay nag text naman siya.

Pupuntahan kita.

Kinabahan ako bigla. Nag-isip ako ng paraan at umalis ako bigla sa opisina ko. Pumunta ako sa file room namin na madalas walang tao para magtago muna roon.

Dahil na-bored naman ako ay nag tingin-tingin ako ng mga lumang blueprints na kung saan tapos na ang mga project. I smiled remembering the memories.

“If you’re going to hide, I suggest do better next time.”

Nanigas ako sa kinatatayuan ko nang marinig ang boses ni Elijah mula sa likuran ko.

Dahan-dahan ay tumalikod ako. I smiled sarcastically. “What makes you think I’m hiding from you? Don’t you see I’m reviewing some blueprints?” Turo ko sa mga nakarolyo na nakalabas sa desk.

He smirked. “Oh, what happened? What did happen to make you look into blueprints that are…” Tinignan niya ang mga blueprints. “Almost 4 years ago… Hm?”

I gritted my teeth dahil naiinis na naman ako sa kaniya.

“You want to talk about this, Elijah then fine.” Lumapit ako sa kaniya at nakitang sumeryoso na ang itsura niya.

My hands moved to his tie, playing with it, straightening it. “What if I have needs… that you can’t fulfill?” Bulong ko at tinignan na siya sa mata.

I saw how his jaw clenched at that. He looks offended. His hands immediately wrapped around my waist as he lifts me up to the desk next to us. Earning a gasp from me. He spreads my legs before standing between them. His eyes, not breaking contact with mine.

“Baby, there’s no need that I can’t fulfill,” he stated like it’s a promise. I saw how his hands wrap around my thighs. He pulls me against him and I hitched my breath when I felt how hard he was. “You will not turn toward anyone but me, Viktoria…” Bulong niya. “I hear you… You want s*x then I’ll give it to you. I can f**k you right here in this very room right now.” He said, dangerously.

With that I felt my wetness. I never saw him dominated me. Just now… feels hot right now.

“Don’t you ever dream or think that I can’t fulfill your needs. Most importantly don’t think that someone else would be fulfilling those. Am I making myself clear?”

I gulped. I looked up to him with an emotion that I can’t name yet.

“Engineer- s**t. SORRY ENGINEER! A-ARCHITECT.” Nanlaki mata ko nang makita ang pinsan niya na si Trevor.

“f**k off, Trev!” Galit na singhal ng isang ‘to.

“Yes, sir!” Nag salute pa siya at mabilis na umalis.

I covered my face with of my palms.

“Don’t get shy now, baby. It’s just the start.” Bulong niya at hinalikan ako.

Inayos namin ang sarili namin bago lumabas. Nang makita ko si Trev ay hindi ko maiwasan mahiya. Pumasok na lang kami sa opisina ko. Si Elijah ay sobrang sama ng timpla kay Trev tuloy.

“Napano ba?” Panimula ni Elijah.

“Trev, sorry-“

“No! No, no… It’s okay! It’s what normal couples do on a normal day… Not that I’m surprised lalo na pinangasawahan mo ‘tong pinsan ko tapos-“

”TREV,” Mariin na tawag ni Elijah.

“Okay!!” He raised both of his hands up. “Anyways… There’s an emergency… Regarding sa commercial building sa mandaluyong.”

Kabanggit niya ay kinabahan ako kaagad. “Napano?” Napahawak ako sa dibdib ko.

“May nangyaring aksidente na kung saan gumuho ‘yung isang parte ng building-“

“Ano?”

”Paano nangyari?”

Halos sabay namin na sagot ni Elijah.

Sumeryoso si Trev. “Ito na nga… ang sabi kasi ay may nag order daw isa sainyong dalawa na palitan bigla ang materyales.”

“Ano? Wala naman ako inuutos na panibago, ah?” Nagagalit na si Elijah.

“Ako rin… Last site inspection ko roon ay last week pa kasama ko pa si Elijah pero wala naman kami inutos…”

“Eh?” Taka ni Trev. “The Dizon’s are planning to sue you both dahil baka sinabotahe niyo raw.”

“Ej…” tawag ko sakaniya agad.

“I’ll call our corporate lawyer about this. Trev, puntahan natin ngayon ‘yung site.” Aya niya sa pinsan.

“Sama ako.” Sambit ko at agarang umiling si Elijah sa akin. “Stay here and try to find out who’s behind this. Dito ko na papupuntahin si Attorney.” He quickly kissed my cheek. “Balitaan na lang kita. Unblock mo na ako.” Ngumisi siya at umalis na sila ni Trev.

God I hope this will end well.
