Chapter 7

I open my eyes thinking that I am already dead but when I saw Manang Maria. It only show that I am still alive.

"Anong ginagawa ko dito?" Tanong ko kay Manang Maria. Mabilis naman siyang lumapit sakin.

Tinry kong alisin ang dextrose ko ngunit pinigilan ako ni Manang. "Lorraine, calm down." Hindi ako nakinig at nagpatuloy sa ginagawa.

Ang mga luha ko ay nagsimula na ding magsipatak. "Hindi ko maintindihan. Bakit? Bakit, Manang? Ayoko na ngang mabuhay diba. Gusto ko ng matapos lahat ng sakit na nararamdaman ko. Kaya bakit! Bakit niyo ako dinala dito." 

Wala na akong nagawa ng yakapin na lamang ako ni Manang Maria habang umiiyak. "Ayoko na. Gusto ko ng magpahinga. Let me die!" Halos magwala na ako.

Nang nagbukas ang pintuan ay nakita ko si Senor at ang doctor. "Let me die, please. Pagod na ako. Ayoko na ng ganito. Hayaan niyo na ako. I don't want my life anymore!"

I continue shouting habang umiiyak pa din. Hinayaan na dapat nila akong mamatay. I cut myself because I don't want to live anymore. Aren't they understand that? I don't need this shitty life I have.

Hindi ko alam pero kumalma ako. Hinihila din ako ng antok kaya wala na akong nagawa kung hindi ang ipikit ang aking mga mata.

"I want to die." Iyon ang huli kong ani bago nakatulog na ng tuluyan.

Matthew's POV

The moment Lorraine lock herself at her room I followed her. "Manang! Give me the keys!" Halos tumakbo na din siya papunta sa akin.

"Ano nangyayari, Senor?" Hindi ako sumagot  sa halip ay nagfocus ako sa pag bubukas ng pintuan. I'm scared at her reaction.

When I open the door she's nowhere to be found then I remember the bathroom. I twist the door knob and it's lock.

"Ella! Ang susi sa banyo. Dali." It was Manang Maria. Ella and Cris is also at the door looking at us. Mga nag aalala para kay Lorraine.

I tried to call her then knock at the door. "Lorraine, open up. Please!" I am begging for her to open up. Sa bawat nalipas na segundo ay natatakot ako lalo para sa kanya. Hindi ko alam kung anong kaya niyang gawin pero base on her reaction kanina ay kakaiba.

Every time I see her trembling because of me, I always want to hug her and tell that everything is alright , that she's safe with me but I know she will be more trigger by my touch.

I hate to see her in pain and being scared of people. I want her to be cured but I don't know how to open it to her since she's a distance when it comes to me. I notice everything.

"Senor," Inabot na ni Ella ang susi sa akin.

I quickly open the door and I saw the water turns red. I know it's her blood. "s**t!"

"Good Lord," I heard Manang.

Inalis ko siya sa tubig dahil hindi na siya humihinga. I put my two fingers on her neck to check her pulse but I cannot find it. Next is her wrist. I found it but it's weak.

"Cpr, Senor."Ani Cris sa akin kahit na alam ko naman iyon. "She's bleeding," Dagdag ni Ella.

"Give me a clean towel."

Mabilis naman si Manang nag bigay ng tuwal. "Press this so that she won't bleed much." Utos ko kay Cris dahil matanda na din si Manang.

I hold her nose and give her a proper CPR. "Breath, Lorraine. Breath." I said as I give her another CPR.

Minutes later water came out from her mouth but still unconscious. I scoop her again and run downstairs.

"Michael, the car!" Sigaw na ani ko sa driver.

I am pressing the towel as we travel through the hospital. "Faster, Michael. She's loosing so much blood! f**k this!"

When we arrive the emergency room. Nurses quickly come to me. "Call, Vince. Tell him I'm at the E.R." I said to Keane, my other bodyguard.

She was treat by Vince. He's one of my closest friend and he works in this hospital.

"How is she?" I asked Vince.

"She's far from danger. Natahi ko na ang sugat niya but we still need to run some test to make sure." I nodded.

Lorraine is peaceful sleeping when we leave her with Manang. Kailangan niyang masalinan ng dugo dahil sa mga nawala sa kanya. It was 6 inch long and a deep cut kaya hindi ito biro. When we came back she's already awake and untame.

"Lorraine," I want to get her attention so badly. I came to her and hug her. "I'm here. It's okay. Calm down first,"

She seems like not listening to my words, she keeps shouting that she doesn't want her life anymore. It hurts me too. I don't know what to do with her now that her mindset is like this.

Pinanood ko kung pano siya pinakalma nila Vince. "Matthew, this is not good. I'll call Doc. Capistrano, she's a good psychiatrist."

"She's not crazy," I defended while watching her sleep.

She may be like this but she's not crazy. This is all because how she treated before. I believe that this behavior of hers is curable.

"Bro, I didn't say she's crazy. I think she is suffering from traumatic experience. Like you said she experience abuse and that can trigger her to act this way. She'll be fine, chill."

He's a doctor kaya tumango na lamang din ako. I took a deep exhale. "Fine. Call the psychiatrist."

When they all leave. I sat down beside her and watch her sleep.

Lorraine looks like an angel sleeping with peace but when she woke up you'll know that she's going through something. The first time I saw her she already got my attention and now that she's with me. I won't let anything happens to her. If I should kill someone for her, I will.

I am starting my plan for her parents. For doing this to her. She can't live a normal life because of them and they need to pay for what they did to Lorraine.

I am not Matthew Alejandre without being ruthless to anyone I want. This is me and no one will ever dare to be my enemy.
