A very beautiful young lady in Ugwu's island, so caring and respectful. She is loved and admired by all, not just because of her beauty, but for her kindness and the dignity she owed to herself, which makes all men crave to have her as a wife. Ego thinks she deserves a better and more handsome man than the ones coming for her, she therefore refuses to marry any of them. Her continuous rejection of suitors prompted advice from her parents and friend which was to no avail. Her wish was finally granted when three strangers from nowhere came in to the village to ask for her hand in marriage, which she accepted at ease because she was already madly in love with the stranger before he could state his intention. The strangers decided to carry out all the marriage rights immediately because they are fully prepared so they can be on their way with their wife. Mr Echezona, Ego's father was a little bit reluctant with the decision but seeing the happiness on the face of her daughter which he has not seeing for a long time, he decided to let the strangers have their way for his daughter's sake. After the ceremony was over, the strangers Left with their newly married wife to a distant place which is yet unknown. Time will unravel what her fate will become in her new home.
