17 year-old Hailee has travelled across the country to attend Woodbridge Boarding School as her parents have been posted overseas with the army. She has international titles in athletics and is on track to compete in the next Olympics until her best friend and training partner (who was going to try out for the 100m Olympic team) is paralysed in a car accident she gives up her spot as she feels it wrong to go without her friend.
