Falling In Love With A Stranger
Updated at Jul 11, 2024, 09:07
As I reached Adeolu's side, I saw the tears streaming down his face, his shoulders shaking with silent sobs. I reached out to him, my heart breaking for the pain he was enduring. And then, in a moment of pure horror, he turned to me, his eyes filled with a mixture of sorrow and regret."I'm sorry, Abeo," he whispered, his voice barely audible over the howling wind. "I can't stay with you any longer. My past has caught up with me, and I must face the consequences of my actions."I tried to protest, to beg him to stay by my side, but he shook his head, his expression filled with resignation. And then, before my eyes, he stepped off the cliff and disappeared into the abyss below.I screamed his name, my heart shattering into a million pieces. The man I had loved with all my heart was gone, lost to me forever. And as I stood on the edge of that cliff, the wind whipping through my hair, I knew that my life would never be the same again. In the days that followed Adeolu's death, I wandered the unknown lands, my heart heavy with grief and regret. I searched for answers, for closure, but found only emptiness and despair. And then, one fateful night, as I lay beneath the stars, a sense of peace washed over me.I realized then that Adeolu's sacrifice had not been in vain, that his love for me had transcended death itself. And as I looked up at the night sky, I saw a shooting star streak across the heavens, a symbol of hope and redemption.I knew then that I had to carry on, to honor Adeolu's memory and the love we had shared. And as I rose to my feet, a sense of purpose filled my heart. I would continue my journey through the unknown lands, carrying with me the love and strength that Adeolu had given me.As I traveled through the unknown lands, I encountered a group of travelers who welcomed me into their midst. They shared stories of their own journeys, of the trials and tribulations they had faced. And as I listened to their tales, a sense of camaraderie and belonging washed over me.I felt a renewed sense of purpose, a determination to forge ahead and create a new life for myself. And as I shared my own story with the travelers, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I knew then that I was not alone, that there were others who understood the pain and loss I had endured. And as we journeyed together through the unknown lands, I felt a sense of peace and contentment settle over me. I knew then that Adeolu's spirit lived on within me, guiding me on my path and giving me the strength to face whatever challenges lay ahead. As I traveled through the unknown lands, I encountered a village shrouded in mystery and intrigue. The villagers welcomed me with open arms, their eyes filled with curiosity and wonder. And as I explored the village, I felt a sense of familiarity wash over me.I realized then that this was the place where Adeolu had come from, the place he had spoken of with such longing and regret. And as I walked through the streets, I saw traces of his presence everywhere, in the faces of the villagers and the whispers of the wind.I knew then that I had come full circle, that my journey through the unknown lands had led me back to where it had all begun. And as I stood in the center of the village, a sense of peace and acceptance filled my heart. I knew then that I had found my true home, a place where I could finally lay to rest the ghosts of the past.As I settled into life in the village, I felt a sense of peace and contentment wash over me. The villagers welcomed me as one of their own, their kindness and generosity filling my heart with gratitude. And as I went about my daily chores, I felt a sense of belonging that I had never experienced before. But amidst the tranquility of village life, a sense of longing lingered in my heart. I missed Adeolu with every fiber of my being, his absence a constant ache that refused to fade. And then, one fateful day, as I sat by the river, a figure appeared on the horizon. It was Adeolu, alive and well, his eyes filled with love and longing. He had returned to me, his journey through the unknown lands complete. And as he reached out to me, a sense of joy and relief washed over me. We were together once more, our love stronger than ever before. As Adeolu and I settled into life in the village, I knew that our love was a force of nature that could withstand any storm. We had faced trials and tribulations that had tested our bond to its limits, but through it all, our love had endured. And as we walked hand in hand through the streets of the village, I knew that our journey through the unknown lands had led us to a place of peace and contentment. We had found our true home, a place where our love could flourish and grow. And as we watched the sun set over the horizon, casting a golden glow over the village, I knew that our love was eternal, a flame that would burn bright for all eternity. And as I looked into Adeolu's eyes, I knew that I had found my soulmate

THE BILLIONAIRES HEARTBEAT
Updated at Jul 10, 2024, 12:03
💚THE BILLIONAIRE'S HEARTBEAT 💛"What?" She shouted, raising her head up.The papers slipped from her head, splittering to the floor. She looked up with angry eyes, staring at Everest who was looking at her with a nonchalant look."Are you dumb?" She yelled, hardening her veins."I didn't do it right?" he asked."How dare you place the papers on my head?" She replied."You asked me to put it on your head, I was only obeying an order" He replied, shrugging."You don't know when sarcasm is used in a sentence, gosh! You are so dumb""Point of correction, I'm not dumb" He said."You are not even remorseful, no sorry from you?" She yelled."If it's worth saying sorry I would have said it without you reminding me" He smirked, and she glared, her eyes raining fire."Pick up the papers" She said.Everest bent down and picked the papers, placing it on the table."You are just twenty four and you are this rude, I'm twenty six" She looked at him."I'm not here to drag age with you, what should I do next?" He said.Paige took the papers and started checking them out, her eyes widened at the accuracy but it got wider when she saw the presentation he made...Gosh!! In just twenty minutes, he was able to do this, the pages were neatly arranged, the edges perfectly trimmed, and the ink was so bold.Is he a machine?"Any comments about the presentation paper?" He asked."Take these files" She said, placing bundles of files on the table."What's it?""You will have to study these files before this week ends, they are my schedules""Anything else?" He asked, and she looked up."Leave" She said arrogantly, resting back on her chair.Everest took the bundle of files and walked out."You will have a hard time working here, I bet you" She said.Everest got to his office and dropped the files on the table. He took a seat, and he started studying the files immediately. He's a fast asimilar so it won't take long for him to assimilate everything in there.LUXURY RESTAURANT*This is where Sloane works, Everest's elder sister. She was panting as she walked into the restaurant backdoor.Traffic delayed her on her way, and she was praying silently for her boss not to find out. She was tiptoeing like a criminal when someone touched her from the back and she gasped shockingly. She stood frozen as she thought of her boss."Why are you walking like a criminal trying to barge into a house unnoticed?" She heard the familiar voice, and she turned immediately."Netwon" She called, sighing relief."Trying to sneak in without the boss seeing you?" He laughed, and she flattened her lips."Traffic delayed me, is the boss around already?" She replied."Yes""What? Did he ask of me?" She gasped."He did but I cover up for you" he replied, and she smiled."Thank you Newton" She said."You look beautiful" He smiled."I'm always beautiful" She rolled eyes at him, and started leaving. He smiled and followed her.THE ROYALS*Myles stopped the car in the company, and he came out."Are you not going to open the door for me?" She shouted."I'm your driver not your guard" He replied, and she glared at him."You work for me" "But it has limitations" He uttered."What? Myles" She groaned."You can keep staying in the car if you think I will open the door for you" He said, leaning on the car with his arms crossed. She kept quiet and started glaring at him, a guard opened the door for her, and she came out still glaring at him."Your number" She said, and he raised his eyebrows."For what?" He asked."You are my driver, it's common sense for me to have your number, you should be grateful my phone is going to contain your number" She replied arrogantly, and he made to say something but he stopped. He called out his number to her and she typed it on her phone."Don't leave this place" She said and started going in.He smirked arrogantly. His phone started ringing again, and without checking he knew who was calling so he didn't pick up.FASHION STORE*Roland was walking with a perplexed look on his face as he kept dialing Myles's number, it kept going through but he hadn't picked any of it."Roland" The manager called, and he turned."Boss" He said."What is up with Myles? He's not picking my calls" "I don't know what is wrong with him, he's not picking my calls too" Roland replied, and the manager sighed."Our sales is reducing, the customers kept leaving as they didn't see him today" "Excuse me" A lady said and they turned."Miss" Roland smiled."Where is Mk?" She asked."He went out but he will be back in a minute" Roland lied."Okay, I will come back in a minute" She said and walked away instantly."You see what I'm talking about? You don't know his house""I'm the closest to him here but we haven't reached the level of knowing each other's house"

The Slave Mater's
Updated at Jul 10, 2024, 12:00
💜The Master's Slave💜🔞💦He hates her, but he lusts over her 💦🔞@everyone (STRICTLY RATED 18+)✨ Episode 62✨Mona's POV: I burst into tears as the guards dragged my friend Madison along with them. I was still in shock. The Madison I know would never steal such a thing."What could be the problem? This must be a set-up" I thought out loud.I ran out of the room to follow them, but one of the guards grabbed me by my neck. I coughed helplessly, but he still didn't let me go."Where do you think you're going? Who told you that you can follow her to the master's court?" He glared hard at me."Let me... Let me go! I'm sure my friend didn't do what you're accusing her of. She's not that kind of person" I struggled to free myself from his grip, but it was so tight that I couldn't even breathe."Who do you think you are? Her savior? Well, it's quite unfortunate that she's as good as death. Nothing will make the master free her, he has already ordered that whoever it is that stole the diamond necklace will be killed brutally" The callous guard smirked at me. Even if I was choking due to his grip, I glared hard at him with so much annoyance."She didn't do it. Why don't you believe me? Madison can never do anything like that. Why are you guys so gullible? You better let her go" I cried out, and he scoffed."That's impossible. Everyone knows how the master is whenever it has to do with the precious treasure. Your friend is so shameless that she stole the master's favorite treasure. If you don't get a hold of yourself, the master will have you stoned to death together with your shameless friend" The guard forcefully pushed me to the bare ground. I held my squeezed neck coughing uncontrollably."I don't care if I'm going to be punished with my friend, I just don't want her to die. How can you kill someone whose innocent all in the name of seeing the necklace with her. Is there any evidence that she wasn't trapped?" I managed to speak after coughing."Get lost now. You dare not tell us what to do. If you dare step an inch, we'll be forced to lock you up in the cold dungeon. I know you know exactly how that place is" The guard said, and turned to leave.I know that I was going to get into trouble if I follow him, but I didn't care. Likewise, I struggled up from the ground, and rushed after him. Furthermore, I grabbed his robe and he fumed with anger. Two of the guards grabbed both of my arms, and rushed towards the dungeon. I tried to free myself, but they overpowered me and took me to the dungeon. The chains clanked as the keys of the dungeon was unlocked. They pushed me into the dungeon, and I landed on the cold floor. It felt like I was in a cold room."Serves you right! I'm sure that if you stay here for at least five days, you'll come back to your senses and realize that you shouldn't poke nose into affairs that is none of your business. You better stay away from that thief you called your best friend" They mocked me before locking me into the room.Tears circulated in my eyes, and rolled down my cheeks. Poor Madison! Is she really going to be killed? I pray the master's cold heart meltdown. If not she will be brutally murdered, and I can't do anything to save her.Lucien's POVI was seated at the court with anger burning through my veins. My mind is made up, if I find the culprit I'll kill whoever it is instantly.Just then, the big gate was thrown open, and the guards walked in. They were pushing forward one of the slaves whose hands were chained to the back. "Move... I said move" the guards continued pushing the slave whose head was bowed to the ground. I got up from the chair, and rushed to the slave. Without listening to what the guards have to say, I slapped her face and she burst into tears. The voice was familiar... The court was a bit dark, so I couldn't figure out who it was.Axel walked to the big window, and throw it open so that I'll be able to see properly."Master, the diamond necklace was found in her possession. This simply means that she's the one who stole the diamond necklace from the treasury" The guard Rodolfo replied."Madison?" Axel called out, and I turned sharply to her raising her face forcefully. She raised her head staring at me with tears in her eyes. She looked pitiable and that made me even more furious."You gave decided to be nothing but trouble to me, you worthless slave. Who do you think you are? Just because you're taking care of my daughter doesn't give you the right to steal my precious treasure" I yelled at her giving her a dirty slap. She staggered backwards and fell on her butts. Her cheeks reddened, and I rolled my eyes."My orders still stands. Take her out, and straight to the back of the castle. Let her be stoned to death, she doesn't deserve to live after stealing from the treasury" I turned my back at her biting my lips hard. She was dragged out of the court, and they led her to the back of the castle.

Pre Marital Ex
Updated at Jul 7, 2024, 03:59
🍃Her Pre-marital Ex🍃..🍀Episode 07🍀..While the women were busy looking through the photo album, Tyson was in the kitchen preparing fried pork chops, buttered brussel sprouts and homemade macaroni and cheese. For dessert he made mille-feuille, a flaky pastry filled with butter cream and drizzled with chocolate. When dinner was ready, he said, “Will the Alexander women report to the dining room, please?” Tamera looked at Gabrielle and said, “You know my brother is silly, right?” Gabrielle smiled, then stood up from the couch. Tamera set the photo album on the coffee table, then followed Gabrielle to the dining room. “Goodness, Tyson,” Tamera said. “What you done whipped up this time?” “Just some pork chops, brussel sprouts and mac and cheese.” “It looks good,” Gabrielle said, pulling out a chair. Tyson went back to the kitchen to get his plate, then he joined them at the table. They ate quietly for a few minutes before Tyson asked, “So my sister hasn’t been telling you my childhood secrets, has she?” Before Gabrielle could respond, Tamera said, “No, but now that you mention it—” “Oh, here we go,” Tyson said, then laughed. “Here’s a good one,” she began. “Gabrielle...Tyson had this chick he was sweatin’...if I recall correctly, he was a senior in high school and I was a junior. Anyway, he liked the girl but she wouldn’t give him the time of day, so he wrote her the cutest little poem.” “Yeah, one that I told you not to read,” Tyson chimed in. “Tyson, you handed me the note and told me to give it to her. You knew I was going to read it.” “Yeah, I should’ve known.” “Anyway, Gabrielle, I gave the girl the note and guess what? She ends up being Tyson’s prom date.” “Okay...no more stories,” Tyson said, wiping his mouth. “One is more than enough.” The three quietly indulged into their meal, then Tamera said, “The wedding pictures are phenomenal, Tyson.” “Thanks, sis.” “You were a handsome groom,” she added. “He’s a handsome everything,” Gabrielle said, locking eyes with Tyson and holding his gaze. She’d never seen him blush before but she was sure he came pretty close to it. Had she rendered him speechless? All he did was look at her, stare at her, then took a sip of wine, their gazes still connected. “Okay, um...y’all need to get a room,” Tamera said. “I feel like I’m interrupting something.” Tyson smirked. “You’re not interrupting anything, Tamera. You’re an eye witness to what true love looks and feels like.” “Aw...” she crooned. Gabrielle smiled. After dessert, Tamera headed upstairs. Gabrielle retreated to the bedroom to pack her suitcase for her trip and while she was busy rearranging items so that they fit perfectly in the small bag, Tyson walked up behind her, folding his arms around her while kissing her neck. “Remind me why I changed my mind about you going on the trip again.” “Because you love me.” “Yes. I do love you. What else?” “And you want me to be happy.” Tyson drew in a deep inhale of her scent. “Is it too late for me to change my mind? I’m starting to have second thoughts about you being away from me.” “Tyson,” Gabrielle sung. “Don’t do this to me, baby.” “I won’t,” he said, then kissed her. Moments later, they lie in bed making love and afterwards, they rested together, her opened suitcase next to the bed, the covers tussled about with a white sheet covering their bodies. “You okay?” he whispered to her. Gabrielle fought to catch enough air to answer him. “Um hmm. Are you okay, Tyson?” “Yes. Just wondering how I can miss you so much and you aren’t even gone yet.” “Tyson it’ll go by so fast, we’ll be right here on Sunday night lying in the center of the bed together.” “Yeah, I know. I’m just being an over-protective husband.” Gabrielle smiled. “So do I need to drop you off at the airport?” “No,” she responded, finding his hand. “Padma is coming by to pick me up around five-thirty. Our flight leaves at seven.” “Have you flown before?” “No.” “Are you nervous?” “Yeah, a little, but I’ll be with Padma and Lalita. I’m sure I’ll be fine.” Tyson sighed heavily. “Tyson, I’ll be okay, baby. I don’t want you worrying about me.” “It’s my job to worry about you.”“Don’t...I’ll be fine, okay?” “Okay, sweetie. Just make sure you call me before you take off, when you land and when you check in the hotel...oh, speaking of hotel, what hotel are you staying at?” “The Regal Midwest...I’m sharing a room with Lalita.” “All right,” he said, then took a kiss from her temple. Her sharing a room with Lalita settled him a bit. At least she wouldn’t be alone. “I’ll let you get some sleep so you’ll be ready in the morning.” “Okay, babe. Goodnight.” “Goodnight.”“So, we’re here ladies,” Padma said enthusiastically. She traveled a lot, but this is the first time she’d had the privilege of having two younger women to come with her – relatives.

THE CHEATING HUSBAND
Updated at Jul 7, 2024, 03:21
PART 1As I sat in my living room, sipping my tea and staring at the TV, my mind wandered to the events of the past few days. My husband, Chike, had been acting strange, always leaving the house early and coming back late. At first, I thought it was work-related, but then I started noticing strange numbers on his phone and mysterious text messages. I tried to brush it off as paranoia, but the feeling in my gut wouldn't go away.I remembered the day I found a strange number on his phone. I had been cleaning his desk when I saw a number saved as "Butterfly". I asked him who it was, and he said it was a colleague. But the way he quickly changed the subject and avoided eye contact made me suspicious.I also recalled the day I saw a text message from the same number. It read, "Can't wait to see you tonight, my love". My heart sank. Who was this person, and why were they communicating with my husband in such a flirtatious way?I tried to confront Chike again, but he denied everything. He told me I was being paranoid and that I didn't trust him. But I knew what I saw, and I knew what I felt. My husband, the father of my two beautiful children, was a cheat.I felt betrayed, hurt, and angry all at once. How could he do this to me? How could he throw away our marriage and our family like this? I thought about our vows, our laughter, our struggles, and our triumphs. How could he just toss it all aside for some cheap affair? As I sat there, trying to process my emotions, I realized that I had a choice to make. I could either let this break me or use it as an opportunity to rediscover myself and find my own happiness. I thought about my children, my friends, my family, and my own dreams. I realized that I didn't need Chike to be happy. I deserved better, and I was going to get it.With a newfound determination, I stood up, wiped away my tears, and started planning my next move. I would not let Chike's infidelity define me. I would rise above it and come out stronger on the other side. I would take care of myself, my children, and my own happiness. I would show Chike that I didn't need him to be complete. I was already complete, with or without him.To be continued...

Mystery of life 🥶
Updated at Jul 6, 2024, 20:50
Mystery of life 2 (True life story)I arranged the chairs together as I prepared to sleep.I made sure i closed every windows and door of the restaurant before laying on the chair I arranged.By 5am the mosque beside the restaurant woke me up and I immediately went to have my birth at the toilet of the restaurant and changed into my only cloth.I washed and hanged the one I pulled off before going to open the restaurant for business.Gradually the other workers came in and we started with food preparation and soon enough customer began to flood in."Emeka! come and serve this food!!" The person in charge of dishing the food call out and I left what I was doing and ran to answer.I took the food and took it to the customer she pointed for me, I dropped the food on his table and turned to leave when he called me back."Mister Man come back," he said and I turned back looking at him for answer as to why he called me back."This isn't what I order, I requested for Egusi soup and not Oha soup," he said."Sorry sir, let me take it back and bring your right order," I said carrying the food trail.I took the food back to the counter as the woman who gave me the food look up at me." He said he ordered for Egusi and not Oha soup," I said to her."So what will I do with this soup, I can't return it in to the pot, you will have to pay for it," she said as I looked at her surprised."I don't understand, I wasn't the person who placed the order or who got it wrong so why do I have to pay for it?" I asked."Because I say so or would you want me to waste the soup, you will have to pay for it," she said."It isn't my fault and am not paying for your mistake," I said and she knocked the food trail off my hand, "now it's your mistake, you will pay for it," she said.I bent down, took the plate, picked up the little I could pick and cleaned up the food on the floor before going back to continue with my washing. As I washed the plates, tears fell from my eyes, I just let it pour out freely."Won't it just be better I end it all and just put an end to all the suffering, pain and insults," I thought to myself."Emeka, some one is waiting for you outside," said one of the workers to me cutting off my thoughts.I cleaned my hands and went out still wondering who it might be.I came out to meet the man who I served earlier and I walked up to him when he waved at me."Good day sir, you sent for me," I said."Yes I did, I noticed what happened in there earlier and I overheard the discussion between you both and wasn't happy with what that lady did," he said."It's fine sir, that's in the past now,"I said."Take this for the food that got wasted," he said give me some currency which I took from him."Thank you sir, thank you very much, I really appreciate," I said.He left and I walked back in happily, for once in the new year which had gotten to May I smiled.I went to the back and counted the money and it was five thousand naira, it was more than the cost of the food.I quickly went back to continue my work not knowing other eyes have seen everything.
