Elara Heart, a lone wolf, was discovered in the woods by Alpha Jeremiah Crest, leader of the White Moon Pack. While in the woods, Alpha Jeremiah is overtaken by her scent and beds her in the meadow, aware that she is already in heat from the strong pheromones. Jeremiah took her captive back to the packhouse, where no one was to lay a finger on her, not even the other males, because he felt that she belonged only to him. However, it wasn't long after many nights of bedding Elara Heart in his quarters that Elara found out she was pregnant with the Alpha's heir, but should she tell him? On one cold full moon night, Alpha Crest returned from a hunt with another Luna on his arm, claiming that she was to be his Luna Princess and that she would be his chosen mate at the Alpha Ceremony leaving Elara with a shattered heart full of revenge, so after waiting for the right time, Elara drugs the Alpha leaving him in a deep drunken slumber so that she could escape while the packhouse was sleeping. But to her surprise, she ran into the Lycan King, and he took her in as his Luna, making her the leader of all the packhouses, and now not even Alpha Jeremiah could touch her. She spent her time there refusing to show her face until the perfect moment, raising her son and working as the realm's top surgeon. It had been three years since she had laid eyes on Alpha Jeremiah and his pack, not caring once about what had become of him after how he ruined her life, but after hearing his voice night after night, showing up to the Lycan King's packhouse, she felt the need to stop him from coming around and finding out her secret about his heir to the White Moon Packhouse. Alpha Crest returns so frequently that Lycan King Ezekiel Silverclaw spills his secret; he's the older brother of Alpha Crest, raised by their father, and it causes a rampage. So after a ruthless fight, Elara finds him in her hospital waiting room, begging on his knees for her help, but her plan would soon be executed, raising his heir to the Lycan Throne to rule over him and the rest of the realm.
