The young vampire princess knew that she would have a mate. However, she didn't expect him to be Lucifer himself. She looked awestruck by his golden wings, his long brown hair flowing in the breeze created by them. Before she could say a word he turned and looked at her, his dark eyes matching her emerald ones. "I've been waiting for you, Princess." He smiled as he hovered slightly above her. That was the beginning of the story of Akala and Lucifer. They mated and marked each other. But everything changed when he was violently ripped away from her and Sent back to hell. Anger and confusion followed her as she felt the bond of her mate knowing he was still alive but hadn't returned to her or their daughter. Until one day she met her second chance mate, Shelia. A zombie who had beautiful silver hair and chocolate brown eyes. they lived a happy life while planning their wedding but that was about to change as Lucifer was allowed to return to earth. His happiness of returning to his mate would be short-lived as he fought a rebellion and a poison that would make him everyone's worse nightmare. Metting him Shelia becomes more possessive and paranoid, lashing out at Akala. Confused about the bond that was forming between the three of them she struggles to understand how it is possible. Akala's anger flares when she sees him but she has a hard time rejecting him and dealing with Shelia. Hoping they can make things work she takes charge of things and leads them to each of their destinies.
