Lydia is about to start her senior year of high school at Clearwater High School when abruptly her mom Alyssa moves them to Wisconsin. Alyssa has done everything in her power to protect Lydia, moving them anytime she smelled another shifter. When Lydia turned 16 and didn't shift she thought Lydia would be safe that finally Luis would stop looking for them. For a year she stopped worrying and started to enjoy life with Lydia in Florida. The summer before senior year a new family moves next door and Alyssa can't help but worry that Luis has finally found them, scared Alyssa turns to the only person she trust Jackson her best friend.
