ABOUTquote
I’m a writer, artist, and desert-born daughter of storytellers. I was raised in the Sonoran heat, surrounded by strong women, deep roots, and the kind of silence that teaches you to listen closely—to land, to memory, to dreams. My work is shaped by my Indigenous heritage, my family's migrant history, and the quiet resilience of those who came before me. I’ve worn many hats in my life—teacher, mother, advocate—but storytelling has always been the thread running through it all. I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, and my academic background often finds its way into my writing through layered characters, generational themes, and emotional complexity. After years of keeping my words to myself, I now write unapologetically—stories full of spirit, grit, and the kind of emotional truth that stays with you long after the last page. I believe stories can heal. I believe in the power of women’s voices. And I believe that the desert, like a blank page, holds more magic than it lets on.

Especially not when they’re caught on camera. When a late-night Snapchat goes viral, it does more than spark gossip—it exposes a tangled web of betrayal. Heartbroken, humiliated, and furious, the girls form an unlikely alliance. Their plan? Take back their power—publicly and unapologetically. They Deserve the Fire
Updated at Jul 25, 2025, 16:46
Mila Delacruz used to be unstoppable. The loud one. The daredevil. The girl who climbed rooftops for the view and tagged alley walls with colors that made the city breathe. While everyone else played it safe, Mila lived wide open. But that was before art school. Before professors bled the soul out of her work. Before she started making things to please people instead of to save herself. Before she walked away — dropped out without telling anyone — and came home for winter break pretending everything was fine. Now, with Lia engaged, Savannah thriving, and Imani chasing med school, Mila feels like the failure in the group. The one who lost her spark.Until Dante gives her a mission that changes everything.A splinter group from OM3N is resurfacing. They’re using a network of coded graffiti to communicate across the city — invisible to anyone who doesn’t know how to read it. But Mila does.Because this was her world before it was theirs. For the first time in a long time, Mila feels alive. Seen. Useful. There’s just one catch:She has to work with Kyle Donovan.Kyle is chaos wrapped in muscle and a grin. Dante’s infiltration guy. His saboteur. The man he sends when things need breaking — or blowing up. He’s reckless, infuriating, and exactly the kind of person Mila doesn’t have the patience for.And he’s thrilled to get under her skin. But when the mission starts, Mila sees something she didn’t expect: Kyle isn’t just chaos. He’s calculated. Skilled. Dangerous in all the ways that matter. And Kyle? He’s just as surprised by her.Because Mila — fiery, creative, unfiltered Mila — doesn’t back down. Not when he teases her. Not when she’s staring danger in the face. She pushes right back, challenging him, grounding his chaos with her own kind of fire.Working together means long nights in abandoned train yards, rooftop stakeouts, and safehouses with walls too thin to keep anything contained — not their banter, not their secrets, and definitely not their chemistry.Respect comes first. Then reluctant trust. Then the kind of heat that neither of them can fight. But the splinter cell isn’t just reviving OM3N’s old network. They’re ready to spill blood to take Dante’s syndicate down — and Mila and Kyle are in their way.Now it’s not just about decoding messages. It’s about surviving them. They Deserve the Fire is the third book in The Deserve Series — a dark, explosive romance about a daredevil artist who refuses to play small, a reckless infiltrator who learns his chaos can be sacred, and the dangerous mission that forces them to burn their past selves down to create something new.She was the spark. He was the fuse. Together, they’re the fire.

What She Deserves
Updated at Jul 25, 2025, 16:05
Savannah Parker was raised to be perfect. Perfect daughter.Perfect girlfriend.Perfect golden girl. She learned young that appearances matter more than truth. That you smile when you want to scream. That you wear the dress your mother approves of, date the boy who impresses your father, and never, ever let anyone see the cracks in the perfect picture you’ve built. But cracks don’t stay hidden forever. After everything that happened with Jordan — the lies, the blood, the trauma that dragged her and her best friends into Dante’s dangerous world — Savannah has done everything she can to hold it together. She’s back at college, back with her picture-perfect boyfriend, back to pretending. But when she comes home for summer break, she realizes the truth: The life she’s been fighting for isn’t her life at all. And the one man who sees that? The last man she should want. Jorge Alvarez doesn’t play games. Second-in-command to Dante’s newly claimed syndicate, Jorge knows his role: keep order, protect what’s his, and leave the messy emotions at the door. He’s lived too long in a world where weakness gets you killed. He has no time for soft smiles or spoiled girls who flinch at the first sign of blood. But Savannah? She’s different. She’s soft, yes. Polished, yes. But underneath the perfectly curated exterior, Jorge sees a fighter. Someone furious at the cage she’s been living in. Someone who might be brave enough to burn it down. And it terrifies him. Because Jorge knows what happens when girls like Savannah touch fire, they get burned. And the worst part? He’s not sure he’d let her go, even if it meant saving her. When a dangerous piece of OM3N’s old network resurfaces — a black-market weapons cache that threatens to undo everything Dante built — Jorge is tasked with getting it back before it falls into the wrong hands. And unfortunately for him, Savannah has the one thing he needs: access. High society connections. Invitations to the exclusive auction where the weapons will be sold. A name that opens doors, Jorge could never walk through alone. Savannah agrees to help, if only to prove to herself — and everyone else — that she’s not the fragile little doll they think she is. But being Jorge’s cover means long nights, close quarters, and the kind of dangerous proximity that makes it impossible to keep pretending she doesn’t want him. And when bullets start flying, masks start cracking, and the lines between them blur, Savannah will have to decide: Will she keep being the girl who does what’s expected of her? Or will she finally claim the life — and the man — she truly deserves? What She Deserves is the second book in The Deserve Series — a dark, high-stakes romance about a golden girl who refuses to be caged, a soldier who refuses to break, and the dangerous world that forces them to choose between survival, love, and the future they’ve both been too afraid to want. She’s been perfect for everyone else. Now, she’ll be real for herself. And for the first time, she’ll get what she deserves.
