They talk about the bigger people, describe grown up how kids will describe grown ups.-MLs older brother will be #foreshadowing. he will come and show the kids what will happen throw games1.Training (a game of catch the flag and a game of sharks and minnows(older brother is the shark 1st round. the kids are the sharks second round) this foreshadows how they'll be trained in the wild and then come graduation the earn their spot in the village by dragging weak people out of the village. )2.Make them skeptical. ( a game of a heist.( against the kids and the adults the adults can only "arrest or kill" the kids that reveal their character. one kid is tasked with fanatic( told to the kids as a wild card can be told to do anything from help harm or stall the group. the task will be to get the whole group revealed before the fanatic so that the whole group can win the heist)(not really a game it's an actual heist that gives the older brother the book of code(the records of experiments so the brother can cure the ML) ( FL will plot to get the whole group exiled because the Elders told him of the "Purge coming." and it's the only way to save the group.)3.Culling. (three kids will die from poison(failed experiments)( the assumed main character will die POV til death. the favorite female will die. and the chubby one will die.) the game will be death. MLs brother will have a powder on his hands. will not announce the game verbally until it's over and the three have been marked.)older brother then has a love story. where the kids help him escape. he doesn't, but he teaches teenage ML about gender love and sex before "leaving." He says this is how you become a big person so you can her safe. this will be told as a side story through pov of other kid.Next themehouse called maze( mystery. clue with death. whole lot of people get killed and FL gets traded to the other group because of her "betrayal" but really cuz of "that girl" has a crush on ML. eavesdropped on previous conversation. four districts are introduced to mingle. one will be used for innocent antagonist. (chubby dude dies here)ML turns cold from all of the death. FL turns timid and loses memory from last game of the maze.Next theme the reveal. the world they know is actually and underwater camp. that is breaking. the maze was the way to exit and now they are above ground they have get used to light. heavy air and change in gravity. while also finding out they need to survive the night. the animals they used to hunt are now much bigger and off. trails will be sickness light headedness finding a new safe haven( in mountains) finding a non modern world waiting and ready to worship or sacrifice them. a sect gets cocky and starts to believe they are God's. ML misses FL they meet a few times after a year as "strangers." (needs to deep and heated) in the end FL sect kills leader because of rumor about the poison and they want to "share it" ML becomes new leader and absorbs FL sect FL has a "little sister" the whole time. annoying character does annoying things that gets the FL in trouble. punished. separate from her sister. send her on a dangerous journey that ends up getting her body taken over by the "bug in all the animals." forgetting about her little sister. end of story til I can figure out a new book.
