Ruby and her friends find themselves in detention on the first day of school and they get their hands on an old box, that they think is something normal, but what they don't know is that their lives had changed from the moment they opened the box.

Gritia is a kingdom know to the outside world as magical, which it was but everyone thought it was a myth. The soon to be king,Prince Kaz, a vampire, goes out in search of a wife and brings back princess Gwen, the adopted daughter of the king of Silveria. Gwen is oblivious of who her husband really is and believes that their marriage is all about business but when she starts living in Gritia and begins to Snoop around the palace, her views and feelings begin to change.
