Queen Astrid walked down the hall her daughter's room. She knocked lightly on the door and slightly opened it to see her two daughters. Her first daughter, Princess Gwendolyn, even though she was adopted they still loves her very much and her second daughter, princess Amara. Amara was sitted in front of the mirror while Gwen did her Amara's hair. " Gwendolyn Amara!!" the queen called startling both princesses. " What are both doing? Why is Amara fully dressed and you aren't. They are about to arrive." She cried. " Mother" Gwen said laughing. " I am almost done with Amara then she'll help me get ready." Queen Astrid walked over to them and took the brush from Gwen's hand , dropping it on the table. Amara laughed. " Now Amara help your sister get ready" She said sitting Gwen down on the chair and starts with Gwen's hair. " Pick out a dress for Gwen, will you." she said to Amara. " Mother , you need not worry instead you should be overlooking the maids not fixing my hair" Gwen told her mother. " Well If I don't do this no one will and then they will arrive and you wouldn't be ready yet." the queen replied her. " No mother Gwen's right, I can do that." Amara said trying to collect the brush from her but her mother doesn't give her. " I will do it, if I leave you both you will spend your time on petty gossip and -" the queen was interrupted by the sound of broken plates from outside. They all looked towards the door. " Duty calls mother, leave this for me." Amara told her mother collecting the brush from her hand. Queen Astrid looked at both of them not wanting to leave but seeing that she had no choice she sighed and walked to the door but turned back to them before walking out." Please get ready quick" and she left the room. The girls giggled. The king, queen and the two princesses sat In the throne room. The Chamberlain walked in and blew his horn "Presenting King Jesper of Gritia and his son, prince Kaz." he announced The door opened and the two walked in. The king,queen and princesses stood up. " Arthur, my great friend, how nice it is to see you again." King Jesper said. " How nice of you to come all the way here." King Arthur said and hugged him. He turned to Kaz " You haven't aged a bit." " Nice to see you again your majesty." the prince bowed. King Arthur beckoned for his wife and children. They went forward and bowed. " Astrid, you are looking beautiful as always." King Jesper told Queen Astrid. " And you are looking good your majesty." Astrid replied and put her hand in the king's hand and he kissed it. " Princess Gwen, princess Amara. You both are looking stunning. I hadn't seen you both since a long time last time I saw you both, Gwen was just two and Amara was but still a baby." he said unsure looking at the queen who nodded in approval. " This is my son Prince Kaz." he touched Kaz. " And Kaz this is Princess Amara and Princess Gwendolyn." he introduced them. " It's a pleasure to meet you Princess." Prince Kaz told Gwen. " It's a pleasure to meet you too prince" She replied. Queen Astrid looked around to find Gwen sitting alone at the table, she walked up to her. " Why is my beautiful daughter sitting here alone, instead of dancing like everyone else?" " Well your daughter is not paired up like the rest." She said pointing to King Arthur and King Jesper sitting at a table then to Amara and Kaz also sitting together laughing. " Well I guess since we are the only ones left we stick together." the queen laughed and sat down. " Mother?" Gwen called " Yes" " How long would they be staying?" " A few days." the queen replied watching Amara and Kaz dance. She smiled. " What is the purpose of their visit mother?" " It's just for business darling. Something that would be of the betterment of the two kingdoms. Nothing that you need to worry about." " Okay mother" Gwen replied and they continued watching everyone on the dance floor but Gwen was particularly looking at Amara and Kaz as they danced and laughed. " What do you think of him sister?" Amara asked Gwen " Think of who?" Gwen asked as the maid undressed her " Who else, Prince Kaz of course" she replied. Gwen kept quiet for awhile, where would she start. Would it be from his brown silky hair or his eyes that weren't blue but she felt like she drowned when she just looked at him only once or his body that well postured and muscular that she wondered what it would look like without a shirt on or his well chisled jaw "Gather your thoughts together Gwen." she said to herself With all those thoughts, all that came out her mouth were " I think he is a fine young man." "That's all you think!?" Amara exclaimed. " Well I am thinking about a lot of things" she stood up from the bed and danced round the room. " The dance with him was just perfect. He definitely knows how to flatter a lady." " I bet he does." " Do you want to know what I heard Gwen.?" " What?" " I heard that the main reason he came to Silveria was to find a match." " The prince is trying to find a match? Where did you hear that from?". " You know Morgana Crackle?" " The young lady that always wears crazy coloured feather on her hair every where she went?" " Yes that one. Well I overheard her telling the other ladies that her mother told her that the prince has been traveling on a quest to find a wife." " Oh but mother told me it was for business." " Hmmmmmmmm, we will never know but we will one day. Good night lovely sister. Tomorrow is going to be a good day." Amara kissed her sister on the cheek and danced out of the room.
