Hey, y\'all! I\'m originally from Georgia, but my husband and I moved to Texas in October 2020. I have always really enjoyed reading and for a while have wanted to give a shot at writing. Due to health reasons, I don\'t have the ability to work a regular job and have been looking for something to possibly bring in some income. Please comment on anything and tell me what you think! I want to improve and write stories that you will enjoy! "I have lived a thousand lives and I\'ve loved a thousand loves. I\'ve walked on distant worlds and seen the end of time, because I read." - George R.R. Martin

The Alpha Queen

Have you ever felt so broken that you just don't know how to go on? I have a whole kingdom counting on me, but nothing seems to matter anymore. Here I am, sitting on our front porch in my favorite rocking chair, staring out at my kingdom and I can't bring myself to care that I'm now their leader. Yesterday was the first time in days that I felt something since my parents were killed. I met my mate, the only one in this world that would be able to break through this dark place. It's almost like the sadness had built a wall around me, keeping all other emotion out. My mate came and knocked it all down. My heart felt happiness. But as we all know, it only takes a moment for everything to change.

Precious Love

“My father was a loving parent, though he was not perfect. Is the same said for you?” Put the shovel down Bells, she’s a stinking goddess. “Yes, while I am not a perfect being, I do my best.” She stopped, just waiting for me to accept her words and move on.  “What more can you tell me about this task?” I mentally rolled my eyes at myself. It just occurred to me that Sarina isn’t with me and I felt some panic trying to surface.  “Stay calm, child. She is resting. I spoke with her before I gave her to you, I thought it only fair I speak with only you.” She somehow brought me some peace, I guess it’s a perk of her position.  “Actually, I would have said it would be better to talk to us at the same time.” I grumbled and then sat up a little straighter so I could pay attention.  “I cannot share much of your task because it isn’t time yet, just that you are the only one who can accomplish this mission. The choice is yours, I will not force you down this path. All I will say is that if you fail, all werewolf kind will be jeopardized.” “What kind of a choice is that? That’s not a choice. How could I possibly choose to let down werewolf kind?” Some choice. “Because it is your choice, at times it will be painful and require sacrifice.” She paused, but I could tell she had more to say. “Many years ago, this choice was not given to another. I will not make this mistake again.” She looked so determined, I wonder what happened.

The Human, Angel, and Wolf

Knock! knock! Knock! I sigh and put my book down. No one else is home so I get up and go answer the door. As I get closer, it's like I feel a presence. It doesn't make me uncomfortable though. I peek through a small crack in the door to see who was knocking and the most beautiful woman is on the other side. Her waist length silver hair and chocolate brown eyes catch my attention first. "Can I help you?" She smiles, "My name is Marian. I am here to help you." She moves to come into the house and I am feeling conflicted. Who is she? Why is she here? How can she help me? This is weird. "Do not worry young one, I am an angel."
