I have always been absolutely fascinated with Norse Mythology, Even though some of it can be difficult to follow I always enjoy basing my writings off of mythology and legends.
Taken from his home at a very young age, Saul doesn't remember much of anything. Only that through the dark, the pain, the screams and the smell of death, Hest was always there. Enduring fight after fight, and change after change has taken its toll on Saul's body and mind, he grew up in the ring, and he thought he would die there as well. Until one day the warehouse is raised and the wolves are freed by a mysterious pack. No names were given, no friendly words exchanged, just more darkness, unable to change back into human form the rescuers deem him too dangerous and he is sent to live free on pack lands deep in the wilds. A story of cruelty, thrill and fear still holds room for healing, travel with Saul as he explores all that the world and his newfound "freedom" have to offer.
Thorin was introduced to his wolf at the meer age of six years old, such a young changeling is unheard of in the Werewolf community, there are reasons why their wolven counterparts never appear to them before the age of 16... good reasons. As little Thorin struggles to maintain control over his rabid beast who speaks only of revenge, he meets the only other person who understands him. His destined mate, Wren also has her changeling, though, she is not a wolf. As the two grow up together, they face the dangers of insanity, and falling victim to their more vicious thoughts, while also understanding what it's like to be in love. Thorin and Wren may be innocent but their Changeling counterparts are anything but, and it is only a matter of time before they begin to fall prey to their crueler nature. Can they hold their beasts back and cling to each other? or will they give in, and become what their beasts crave...
