He defends Head Prefect *Aminat* in a disciplinary meeting, earning respect and rumors. He answers a phone call in assembly and walks away unpunished, making students see him as fearless. Teachers are split — some respect his brilliance and responsibility, others hate how he confronts injustice. At home, nothing is easy. He lives with “family friends” who treat him like a houseboy: plates, sweeping, “where is money?” But he endures.
