Being designated as an omega, I felt my mom was disappointed. I have no idea why, seeing as she's one herself. I grew up in a pack family. My omega mom, three Alpha Dads and my siblings. I was the only female. It wasn't a surprise I designated as an omega while my brothers, David, John and Ryan were all Alphas. But I can't help but feel mom would have wanted me to be a Beta. I can't blame her, omegas are seen as weaker vessels and we go through a lot of discrimination and criticisms. Though the government has implemented omega rights and we're now equal in society but that's just in papers. The Hierarchy still stands.I've seen my own fair share of heartbreaks and omega discrimination. My former pack, if I could call them that. We weren't bonded but they took care of me. In the sense, they provided physically and financially but never emotionally. That's where I learnt why we were called the weaker vessels. Cause we were the most emotionally vulnerable. The Vance pack gave what they could but it's not what I needed. I wanted to be loved, cherished, I wanted a bond like my mom, I wanted to be happy, not cause I was bought gifts and taken on expensive vacations. i wanted the thoughtfulness behind it. Sure, you can call me greedy but i won't settle for less. And since they weren't ready to be that for me. I left the pack. I'm done being claimed by a pack who don't fully understand the meaning of claiming. And since I'm not getting younger, I signed up for the all round the month match-up feast in a city half way across the world from mine. Who knows maybe I'll be matched with a pack that's meant to be mine.
