Seraphim couldn’t take his eyes away from Jinri, “do you know who I am?” They stared at each other without any words to say. Jinri’s eyes start to water, “do I know you? Am I supposed to know who you are?” Seraphim couldn’t stop himself, he slowly lifted his hand and cupped Jinri’s face. The moment his thumb touched his mate's lips, tears fell from the corner of Jinri's eyes. Seraphim wiped mate's tears, “try and remember who I am.”

“Please let me taste you…” I whispered in his ear. His moan sounded as an approval. I kissed his neck and gently sank my fangs on his soft skin. I held onto him tighter when he arched his body away from me. His blood now is sweeter than he had in the past. It was beyond invigorating. I tasted his lust and everything else that he felt.
