Emmeline was abandoned as a baby in front of a local hospital. She grew up in orphanages and foster homes, but she's now 17 and ageing out of the system. A few days after her 18th birthday, she's at her part-time job and one of her customers starts asking her some very weird questions. Later that night, she is walking home from work.
