Alpha Kael

She didn't beg or cry, instead she grabbed a bag and disappeared into the dark. ‘Two years.’ Serena Voss gave Calder two years of her life, her loyalty, and every quiet piece of herself she knew how to give. And in return, he sat on the edge of her bed one full-moon night and told her he'd found his fated mate. In pain, she left before sunrise and without a plan. All she had was a wolf in her chest full of fire, and twenty miles of dark forest ahead of her.  What she found on the other side of it was the last thing she expected: a pack rebuilt from ruins, a territory on the edge of war, and an Alpha who looked at her like she was a variable he hadn't accounted for. Alpha Kael Dravon on the other hand, hated warmth. He only liked order and precision. He built Thornwood out of rubble with his bare hands and he will not let anything; not a border dispute nor a pack insurgency, nor even a rogue wolf from Silver Ridge with tier-seven scores and absolutely no respect for his personal space ~ threaten what he's made. But she is everywhere. In his training ground, his patrol reports, and his thoughts at 2 AM when the packhouse is quiet and he is supposed to be working. He swears she's temporary. She tells herself the same thing. But they are both wrong.
