Melissa is asked by her parents to marry Alpha Rex whom she dislikes and has heard different opinions and many rumors about him. Her parents tell her to marry Alpha Rex and she can't refuse as her mission is to steal the gem in the Alpha's house. She's reluctant at first, yet she later agrees to marry Alpha Rex. She doesn't like Alpha Rex and wonders why he keeps smiling with her, the wedding is prepared and she finally gets married. Melissa is not that excited to be married, she follows Alpha Rex to his mansion. Once she settles in, they almost consummate their marriage as she realizes that she's attracted to him even if she doesn't like him. Alpha Rex is called by the Beta of his pack and they tell him that there's plans of stealing the Gem. Alpha Rex hides his gem carefully and in a way that no one will find it. The gem is what strengthens his pack and bloodline and other packs are looking for it. He doesn't see Melissa hiding to see where he hides the gem. Melissa is happy that she has found where the gem is hidden and she plans a way to take it. She goes to the safe Alpha Rex and keeps the Gem but she can't open it. Melissa tries to find a way to get the code for the safe. She began watching every move Alpha Rex makes trying to catch him when he's putting the passport,yet to no avail. SubplotMelissa's mother calls her and asks if she has gotten the gem as their pack really needs it, she urges Melissa to not forget why she really went to Alpha Rex's pack. She tells Melissa to do anything in her power to get the gem from Alpha Rex. Melissa thinks of what to do and decides to use his attraction for her to find out the code to the safe. In the process Melissa and Alpha Rex sleep together. Alpha Rex knew the reason Melissa came to his pack, he somehow overheard her conversation with her mom. Yet he pretended to not know what was going on, he couldn't help but be attracted to her. Even if he knew she was deceitful, he couldn't help but want her and his wolf was also addicted to her and her scent. Her scent is alluring to him and he can't help but wonder if she's his mate. Melissa keeps trying to find a way, she even makes her maid join in yet she can't find a way. She realizes she's more attracted to him than she lets on and she can't help but fall for him everyday. She visits her parents and she's demanded to bring the gem immediately, her pack really needs it. Melissa decides to take matters into her hands, she destroys the safe and finds out the gem was moved from the safe. Melissa is annoyed wondering where he kept the gem and why she couldn't find it. Alpha Rex comes back and she seduces him into sleeping together and she finds out he hides a password somewhere. She uses the code to unlock the new safe she finds and she's shocked to see the gem there. She's caught by Alpha Rex,and she tries running yet he catches her. He told her they are mates and she shouldn't do anything to harm his pack. Melissa is surprised to find out she's Alpha Rex mate and she realizes how true it is, she was too concerned with finding the gem to notice or feel it. Melissa decides to return the gem and she asks the Alpha for forgiveness for trying to take his gem. ConclusionShe tells her parents she won't get the gem for them, Alpha Rex is happy that she decides to choose him. He's very happy and their relationship improves, they end up mating. A group plans to take the gem and use it to make their pack stronger. Alpha Rex's pack gets attacked and Alpha Rex's Beta leads this attack. Alpha Rex is shocked by his Beta's betrayal, but he knows everyone loves power and they want this gem. Alpha Rex runs and hides with Melissa who is pregnant, they are almost killed, but Alpha Rex manages to retrieve the Gem from his Beta again. He runs with Melissa and they escape to the healer's place, Melissa ends up fainting. Alpha Rex is scared as Melissa doesn't wake up yet. The healer tells Alpha Rex that Melissa is pregnant. Alpha Rex is very happy and he finds a way to kill the beta. He makes Melissa's parents part of his pack,and they end up leaving happily.
