This is a story about a girl who grew up at a broken home. Her dad was never there. Her mom was a drug addict and left her just to be with a man that beat her and pimp her out for whatever he wanted and her grandma recently passed. Ever since then, Mariah hasn't been the same and has trust issues...until August comes in the picture and changes everything...hopefully.
