THE STRUGGLE

In the dead quiet of the night captain John with his second sergeant Davis we're preparing to take their midnight shift.They were guarding a secret military base used for scientific research. Although they guarded the facility they didn't bother with what was being researched in the labs they were about to patrol. Captain John was a war veteran waiting for his retirement from the army while sergeant Davis was still in her mid military career with no retirement in sight. The duo had been deployed in the base for six months and we're quite familiar with each other. That their six hour patrol was quiet like the other days bt they were still alert as anything would happen at anytime and their work was to prevent anything bad from happening. On their way to the labs they noticed two lights from one of the lab were on. They made it to the lab to make sure those who were working there were members of the scientific team asigned there. Upon arriving at the lab they heard a heated argument between two scientist, it was common for scientist to argue from time to time.On opening the lab using their key cards they found out that professor Mike hatling was working with his intern Miguel.
