Silent screams

"what's wrong with her?" She heard beeping and she stared at the white ceiling. She tried to hang herself but, her mom found her. She tried to scream but, nothing came out. Just silent tears. She remembers pushing her mom trying to stop her. They didn't understand. No one did. The doctors talked low but, she heard "she lost her voice it looks like trauma or excessive screaming." "Screaming?" "Ma'am do you know why she tried to kill herself?" "No she was gone for awhile. Her friend said she never showed so... Ohhh god" "she won't talk to us maybe keep her here to get her checked" "no my daughter isn't crazy she has friends, she is popular, she has good grades, high iq and she is a good girl....no boyfriend too.  There is no reason for her to kill herself!" She sobs "my baby who could have did this to her" "she looked like she got away from her attacker." "Attacker?!" "There was blood under her nails and skin.. we don't know who because it isn't in our system" "Officer David you better find out who hurt my baby" her father spoke. "I understand but, we don't have any leads as to who... She won't talk and doctors say it might also be a fragile topic due to her state of mind. She been gone for a week is the most."  I stared at the wall I wanted to die but, I don't know why. Why? Did I want to die? I try to think about what I remembered and I just remember packing and happy I was going to sleepover at Katie's. Then I went to bathroom and as I came out. Gloved hands covered my mouth and I fought but, they put something over my mouth. My heart raced and I heard the monitor beeping loudly. The nurse ran in "it's ok this will help relax you" she took a syringe and tapped it and then inserted into the IV.  No she wanted to scream but, couldn't she tried to rip the IV out but, then the room was crowded. People held her down and she screamed tried to but, couldn't. She kicked and the medicine was making her sleepy Spacey. I'm not safe here I wanted to scream but, my voice didn't work.  I thought I saw him before I passed out. It looked like him his shadow.
