Desmond was pacing back and forth. His expression was frosty. He would retort to the last option, break-up. Why would Amaka not listen to him and abort that unwanted thing in her belly. He had pleaded, persuaded, and even coax her to abort it but she refused. He was not ready to be a father, not while he’s still a student. He paused and stared at Amaka who sat on the sofa staring at him with a chilly expression.

“Amaka, this is the last time am going to tell you to abort that child” Desmond ordered in a frosty voice.

“Abort what child Desmond? After how many months?” she hissed and eyed him. This should be the seventh month of the pregnancy and Desmond had not stopped singing his song of abortion. She had aborted four pregnancies already and this one would be the fifth if she aborts it. She was determined to keep the baby whether he likes it or not.

“If you insist on keeping that pregnancy and giving birth to that thing, then look for a father for it. Am not ready to father a child now. If you have forgotten that you’re still a student, I haven’t forgotten that am travelling out of the country in couple of months time after my graduation.” Desmond declared.
