"Prissy please help me this last time I'll be the one to help you next time"Maya said with a sad look as she pleaded with her best friend. "Finee only this time,I won't help you again". Priscah said as she laid back on her seat. "How could boss send someone to a big company when he should be the one going."she murmured. Priscah and Maya have been friends since highschool,they went to the same University and even got the same job.They do things together just like how Best friends do.they live separately because Maya has a boyfriend and Priscah is 24 years old and still single.Her last relationship was in uni and it didn't end well.Her boyfriend cheated on her.She was heartbroken for long.she never got into any relationship after that.She never opened her heart to anyone else. Maya on the other hand has been dating with Jake since second year of uni.They been together for long.Maya keeps setting her best friend for blind dates but to no vain.Priscah always find a way to reject them. Now Maya was assigned a job to another company,but since it was her day off, she pleaded with her friend to go instead.and besides Priscah know how to handle those clients more than her.she is pretty popular in their work place but she does not care. The day ended and Priscah went back home.She was nervous because this was a big deal for the company.she then headed to a cafe nearby to cool off. The day came and Priscah woke up early than usual.Even though she is always busy she is happy with her job it's her dream job and she could never ask for more.She took a shower then spoke with her best friend on the phone. "I hope you find a handsome guy in that company so that you will not die single"Maya said smiling. "am not here to find a boyfriend am here to work Maya!"she said annoyingly. "will see about that".Maya said. "I gotta go now" she said and ended the call.she was quite jealous of her friend because she had a perfect boyfriend but she shoved that away.the only thing she could do was to be happy for her friend and she was truly happy for her.she would never want her friend to experience what she went through because of love. "I only hope that everything will go well"she said to herself.she dressed a white top and a denim skirt.she made coffee and placed it in a tumbler and headed out. .She took a cab and headed to the Moretti company.The company was much bigger that theirs.She went to the reception and asked for the boss.The receptionist gave her a mean look and then directed her. "sixth floor on the left"and she continued tapping the computer.On her way to the elevator she bumbed into someone,and the coffee she had splashed on both of them. "am so sorry"she said quickly as she tried to wipe the coffee off his shirt.she was already late and this was happening.she looked up and she saw a dark pair of eyes looking at her disgusted.she was in fear. She didn't have the time to clean up so she went directly to the office. "sir Mula company have arrived"the secretary said. "let them in"a cold voice spoke.Priscah was led to the office and she was stunned to see the same person was the CEO of the company.she froze then her lips started speaking. "sir about earlier? I'm so sorry I didn't mean to.i can compensate the clothes"she said apologetic. He didn't even look at her.she was so scared that she was shaking. She introduced herself and started explaining the contract to him.She never checked him because she was so embarrassed and scared.All she hoped is that he signs the contract.She had to come back with the contract even if it meant to kneel before him and ask for forgiveness or else she would get fired. To get her dream job was not easy.And if her boss knew what she had done to the client ,she could just forget going back.They finished discussing the contract and the client left,the only thing she could do is wait for the signed contract or not.she stood up tiredly as she checked the time.it was already one o clock. she headed back to the office still scared about the incident. "what!are you dumb or what,how could you do something like that.you should start finding a new job if he doesn't sign that contract"Maya yelled. "Am so screwed.he didn't even speak he was so scary. "ooh Prissy you are Soo done.But wait wait was he cute"she asked giggling. "am going to tell Jake that you are asking about other guys"Priscah said teasing. "and this is not the time to talk about his looks,you should be helping me find another job.
