Larissa DeVita- forced to get married at 19 for 7 months, having a contract marriage she did what her dad wanted, because he is supposed to want what's best for her.

The man she is married to doesn't even look at her, he doesn't want her, he is in fact interested in her older sister who also likes him back. But her dad wanted her in this contract marriage and not her smarter older sister who had a future in front of her unlike Larissa who he treated her like crap.

After the 7 months are up and 3 months before her 20th birthday she is a divorced happy and free woman, she moves away and her family just continues to hate her, her sister even called her a sl*t and a man stealer and to be honest she was done explaining herself to everyone she just moved away and started her life without anyone telling her how she should act, what she should wear and who she should talk to.

The mask she wore since she was 14 was finally thrown showing the beauty behind it.

SIGNED CONTRACT
Being 19 and in college I couldn’t say a thing to my father, cause he wanted what’s best for me. What’s best for me kiss my ass, he wants to marry me off to Gavin Nicholas because of who his family was and what they represented. Gavin Nicholas was the son of Rupert and Samantha Nicholas and he was the oldest of all of his siblings so his parents wanted to marry him off too, but what I didn’t understand was the fact that my father wanted to marry me off instead of my older sister who was 23 and she actually liked Gavin and he was interested in her too, they have been dating for 4 months already and I was covering for her, cause she didn’t want our parents to find out. But as soon as my dad sat us all down one night and declared that I was to get married to Gavin, my sister started hating me and calling me names and to be honest I didn’t deserve that, I am not the one that made this decision it was our father. Gavin was 27 he was 4 years older than my sister Diana and he was 8 years older than me, EIGHT! EIGHT FU*KING YEARS!!!, my dad was crazy and I couldn’t believe that mother agreed to this. After that night my parents pulled me into their home office the next afternoon and told me that I was the one doing this because Diana had a future in front of her and I just had a business diploma in my back pocket from my summer classes over the past 3 years, what was I going to do without attending university. So they said why not it’s not like it’s forever, it’s only 7 months, I wasn’t loosing anything anyways. They ruined my life with this, but all I could do was say okay like the good daughter I was. My father had his company and he was well known as the Nicholas family was too. My parents never brought me to any events so it was like no one knew who I was and I was happy with that, they were disappointed in me and they never failed to show that or tell it straight to my face, they didn’t want the world knowing what kind of a person I was and that I was a disgrace to the family name as my father told me before I signed those damn contracts. Why the hell does my own family hate me that much I don’t understand. Gavin ignored me all the time, he hated me too, he hated me because I wasn’t Diana and he couldn’t be with her but he had to spend the next 7 months with her stupid younger sister. I never left the apartment, no one ever knew about this fake marriage except for our families and to be honest I gave up on the fact that I will ever be free to live my life without someone telling me what, how, when  or where I should go or do things. In those 7 months I lived alone in an apartment in New York while Gavin was fu*king my sister in the penthouse in that same building, they still continued to spend time together and I still covered for them. I at least had my things, my guitar, my piano, my computers along with my laptop, my books, cameras and all of my drawings. I had all of my things in here, and I decided to apply for a job in a nearby bakery and I got it. I worked there as a waitress and the owner was a nice older lady, she taught me how to make cake and cupcakes along with cookies and my gosh she was like my grandmother that I lost when I was 15. I met two of my besties Ada and Alessia working here, they were working too but only part time cause they were in college. I had these two girls believing in me and cheering me on giving me confidence to go forward and not give up on my dreams and I was happy I had them in my life. The months all turned into blurs as they were coming to an end in two weeks I was going to be finally free. I was working at the bakery as Ada and Alessia walked in with their uniforms on. ‘Hey girl!’- Ada yelled walking towards me. ‘Hey Ada, how were your classes?’ ‘ Boring as always, I mean the one I have on Fridays that is.’ ‘ Right?’ I say looking at her sideways. ‘ Don’t look at me like that. I’m serious!’ ‘ Okay B whatever you say.’ ‘How about we go and start working Ada?’- Alessia asked her sister half mockingly. ‘ You are no fun twinny.’ ‘Cmon she is right, we don’t want Fiona to get mad at us, now do we?’ I say looking at her. ‘ Okay fine you are right.’ said Ada tying her apron.   Yeap this is my life at the moment until I am free and able to do what I actually want to do.
