The Goddess Alpha

THIRD POV “I will not submit to anybody let alone my mate!” Serafine screamed as she attempted to storm out of the packhouse. Before she had the chance her mate, William, grabbed her wrist and swung her around to face him. Once they were face to face there was a whirlwind of emotions that swept through them. Anger, jealousy, need, but amongst them all one stood out the most, love. Yes, they did still love each other, despite all their fighting and only knowing one another for a few short weeks. William and Serafine were destined mates. Which is why it confused Serafine as to why her mate wanted her to submit so bad. Serafine was a female alpha, which is not a rarity but for her case it is, as she is a female alpha by blood. Female alphas usually come into the position due to their mate (the alpha) dying and temporarily taking over or being the oldest (or only) daughter if both their parents passed. Eventually they may find their mate and they takeover as alpha or their brother does once, he is of age. They got along amazingly except for one thing. He wanted her to renounce her claim as Alpha to her pack, The Scarlett Moon Pack and join his pack, the Darkmoon pack. After their moment of staring into the other eyes with love and lust, William finally spoke in a voice so low that a human would not have heard it, but Serafine heard it loud and clear. “Do you feel the electricity between us?”. Serafine nodded her head while biting her lip. A part of her hated him but another part wanted to give him everything. “Then you know we are meant to be together. Why do you resist me and refuse to submit and become my Luna” he asked pulling her closer, their faces inches from each other’s. “You know it is in my blood to be an Alpha. The Moon Goddess must have known you’d accept that, or she wouldn’t pair us together. Please my love, understand that if you do not accept my fate and destiny I will be forced to reject you,” she paused taking a steady breath, “and that is something I do not wish to do. I want you-NO, I need you. You are strong no doubt…” She continued, while he smirked with a proud cocky look in his eyes. She leaned in close enough that he felt her breath on his face. She snaked her free hand around his neck and pulled him down closer to her, so her mouth was in his ear. “But so am I…” she stated boldly. She let out a quick giggle before she made her move. In one quick motion she swept his leg out with hers and pulled him down to the ground on his back. She sat on him pinning him down, growling and showing dominance. He stared at her in awe. He’s been Alpha for 2 years now and in that time, he’s never been taken down, not even by his own enemies while he was distracted. She truly was as strong as the legends claim her to be. Finally, she released her grip on his wrists and one of his hands went to her waist while the other gripped her hair, pulling her down to him. But she pushed against his chest, refusing another kiss. “I’m serious William. It is in my blood, and history to be an alpha. I cannot continue this frivolous adventure if you cannot commit to accept me as I am” She said sternly looking into his eyes. Deep down he knew this, maybe he was testing her to see if she were a true alpha, but that would be stupid to test her, the mark she bears doesn’t lie. “I, William Coulter the Alpha of the Dark Moon pack, accept you, Serafine Valberg the Alpha of the Scarlett Moon Pack as my mate, and co-Alpha.” He confidently said looking deep into her eyes. Seraphine smiled proudly as she relaxed and leaned into the most passionate kiss they had yet.
