Blurb

Gael, a college guy that is bullied for his feminine looks was lost in the woods after he was chased by his bullies, one night on their school immersion. Running desperately, he fell down a cliff. Anticipating his death, he suddenly woke up to a grand tent filled with extravagant things.

Realizing he's at the hidden town in the middle of the woods. Seems like a cliché sci-fi scene from the movies. But one thing is different.

The town members weren't full humans. They were a pack of wolves...

And the one who owns the tent?

He was the Alpha Wolf...

He's staying with the Alpha.

And what's worse is that...

Prologue
"Behind the shadows of these dark clouds, You are the brightest star I can see. My memories of you will never fade, As I can always think of you when the night bleeds." I saw myself looking at the bright moon on the sky as it shone on the grass where I laid down. A warm hand enveloped my palm, tightly squeezing it as he was uttering these words. I tried to look up to him but failed to see his face. All I can feel was I'm at peace, even though the air around me seemed so thinner and thinner as the seconds go by. "I would love you for who you are. Until our afterlife I will look for you and chase you We'll be happy maybe not in this life." His voice was hoarse. I can see the red liquid on my palm that flowed from his nape down to his shoulder. He's hurt and his voice was restrained. It pained him too. I gasped as I tried to breathe. It was suffocating. My eyes were heavier but for the last time I looked at his blurry face. Confused, tears flowed down my eyes. Why do I feel sad? Why do I feel like crying? "Take this promise as we take our last breath Luna, This heart of your knight, will always beat for you. This true heart of your Alpha." He coughed and kissed me on the forehead. I reached for his face while his lips rested on my forehead. I gasped for the last time as my eyes closed and felt that something ended in me. ***** I woke up to the strong smell of antiseptic. I groaned as the light hits my eye. I saw a woman holding a small bottle. She looked at me with satisfaction. She had this blue eyes that were mesmerizing. "You are awake. That's good." I tried to sat down and looked at my unbuttoned uniform. I looked around the clinic. The girl fetched a glass of water and handed it to me. What the hell happened? "You were hit by a ball. The soccer team brought you here." She said. I massaged the back of my head. Yeah. I was hit or should I say targeted? I was getting bullied for months as I just got transferred in this town with my aunt. The seniors weren't feeling good whenever they see me. And when they do, it always end up in bruises or injury. I coughed and fixed my disheveled hair. I buttoned my shirt and looked at the nurse who took care of me. "You have a good skin and small feminine face for a guy." She pointed out. My brows furrowed. I knew that. I was told wherever I go. That's the main reason why I always end up bullied everywhere I went. Mostly my bullies were homophobic and mistook me as a gay. And it is very tiring. "I'm a guy." I said and tied my shoes. She watched me and nodded. She flashed a smirk like she's trying to process my answer. "Thank you for looking over me. I got to go. I have class for later." I hurriedly went out. I looked at the time. No one was walking on the hallway as it was study period. I got a test on calculus and haven't studied yet since I stayed up late playing war games on my phone. I almost run the stairs when a muscular figure brushed past me. "Hey, watch it mate." I said. He stopped walking and removed his hoodie. I saw his face. It's Jackson Vera from the Political Science Department. He's the most popular kid in this college because of his look and mysteriousness that makes the girls go crazy. And plus, he also played lacrosse. I looked at him. He looked back straight at me. He just stood there, not opening his mouth. After seconds, he cut our eye-contact and just continued walking up the stairs like I did not exist. "Asshole." I whispered. My eyes widened when I saw him stopped on his tracks again and looked at me ruthlessly. I raised my brow as a signal of my shock. "What did you say?" How did he hear that I said something? I was five steps away from him. I grimaced and coughed. "I didn't say anything." I denied. He crossed his broad arms and smirked at me. "It is rude to call someone asshole on your first meeting, girl face." He didn't even wait for my reply and just ran his way up to the stairs. I scoffed in disbelief. Did he just called me girl face? That was the real definition of rude. Jackson Vera, you asshole! I hated this town and school. I was always mistaken as a girl whenever I go and I was getting bullied here. If it wasn't for Aunt Karina's job. I would get out of this hell hole. ****** "I am home, Auntie." I shouted as I opened door. The whole day was very tiring. I got a failing mark on my calculus test as I cannot study while thinking about Jackson's filthy encounter. Aunt Karina got out of the toilet. She was covered by a red towel. She smiled at me. "I prepared dinner for us. Mind if you set up the table?" She asked. I kissed her cheeks and went to the kitchen to get the table ready. I was humming to Aerosmith's song when she went down the stairs. Aunt Karina didn't seem to age. She looked like she's still in her thirties. She wore a dress with a thin strap. She looked heavenly. I stopped looking at her when I saw a scar of her arm. It was a long reddish scar. "Did you play again with the neighbor's dog?" I asked. The old woman next door had two Labrador that she often babysit. She always had scratches everyday but it left no scars. "Oh. I did. Mrs. Elena had to go to the grocery." She answered. I inspected the scratches. "It landed exactly on your tattoo." I pointed out and looked at her X-shaped tattoo. "Don't worry. It will be fine soon. Let's eat." She smiled. I sat up and started getting my food. We were eating when she asked me. "How's school today?" she often asked me this. I had to smile and pretend that everything's fine. I don't want Aunt Karina to be worried. She took care of me when my parents died when I was a toddler. She's the bestfriend of my biological mother so I looked up to her as a real mom. "Fine. I just met someone annoying and he called me girl-faced." I laughed. Aunt Karina looked engrossed to the topic. "Girl-faced?" She asked. I nodded and chewed my food. I drank water. "Yup. That airhead Vera called me that." Aunt Karina creased her forehead. "Vera?" "Do you know them? Jackson Vera?" I asked again. She stopped chewing for split seconds and shook her head. "No. I just mistook it for someone from work." She smiled. I was curious because she's too shock when she heard the name of that Jackson. "Just stay away from that guy, Gael. It feels like he'll trouble you based on what you said." I smirked and c****d my head. "Nah. He seemed weak. I bet I can take him down." "Just listen to me Gael. Stay away from that Vera guy. Understand?" Aunt Karina said seriously. What? And why was she acting like this?
