Forbidden Mates

*3rd Person* "Daddy," the young 5 year old boy said running into the older man's arms. "Hey, squirt!" The older man said picking up the boy. "How was your day today?" The man asked the boy. "It was good, mama took me to the park and I met a boy, named Jaime, and he's really cute." The boy said smiling at the memory. "Oh, really and what did you and this Jaime boy do?" The man asked walking into the kitchen and looking at his wife with a smile. "Oh, we just played," the boy said while the man put him down on the floor. "Well, that sounds fun did you have a good time?" The man asked crouching down to the little boy's height and let out a small chuckle when the boy nodded his head really fast. "And after mama took me to the ice cream parlor and we had some ice cream," the boy said with a big grin on his face. "Hey, I thought you promised not to tell?!" The older women said with a small smile on her face. "Whoops," the boy said with an innocent smile on his face and the women chuckled. "Oh, so mama took you to get some ice cream?" The older man said standing up and walking over to the women, the women smiled. "No, don't you do it," she said backing away. "Do what?" The man asked with a small smile on his face as he got closer to the women. "Run" the women yelled as she dodged the man, as he was coming at her. The women and the little boy ran away laughing while the man chased them laughing. They hid away from the man in the bathroom and tried to control their laughter. When they finally got it under control they heard the man yell down the hall. "You can't hide from me I'm gonna find you!" This caused the fits of giggles to start up again between the boy and the women. The women trying to hold in her own giggles put her finger to her lips to tell the boy to be quiet this caused the boy to put his hands over his mouth. That's when they heard it the footsteps of the man. And the only thing that separated them from him was the curtain of the bath. When the man started to pull the curtain back slowly the boy got up on his feet like the women told him to because he knew what the women wanted when she gestured for him to do it. The women smiled at the boy and he smiled back, she grabbed the curtain and pulled it back fast startling the man. The boy jumped on the man and started to tickle him, they went to the ground in a fit of giggles. "Okay okay, I surrender," The man shouted and the boy stopped and played on the man giving him a hug. The women got out of the bath and was pulled down to the ground by the man so all three of them were laying down on the ground together. "I love you, mama and daddy!" The boy exclaimed, "we love you to" the man and women replied. -2 years later- "No daddy, don't go," the 7 year old boy said grabbing onto the man's leg. "But I have to go to work," the man said trying to get the boy off his leg. "Okay, sweetie, let's let daddy go to work now," the women said picking the boy up, he put his head in the crook of the women's' neck. When the boy heard the car start from the driveway he jumped out of the women's arms ran to the window just in time to see the man drive off. "No, don't go, don't leave!" The boy exclaimed crying. The day went by and the boy sat by the window waiting for the man to come home. "Come on sweetie why don't we go and play at the park?" The women asked and the boy nodded his head and got up and ready then left for the park. When they got there the boy saw Jaime, talking to a boy that looked to be about 11 years old. When Jaime noticed the boy he waved and ran over to him. "Hey," Jamie said and grabbed the boys wrist and pulled him towards the other boy. "Brother this is the boy that I was telling you about. "Jamie said to the older boy, "This is my brother Blake, Blake this is my best friend Aaron. "Jamie said introducing them. "Hi," the boy said shyly giving the older boy a small wave. "Hi," Blake says smiling at the boy and liking how cute he looked. "So Aaron, why do you look sad?" Jamie asked pulling the boy towards the playground. "I didn't want daddy to go to work today, I just wanted him to stay home with me and mama and play," the boy says, starting to cry again. "Hey, it's okay, why don't we play so we can get your mind off it?" Jamie said when he noticed the boy started to cry again, the boy nodded and they started to play. "AARON, IT'S TIME TO GO HOME," the boy heard his mother yell, he didn't really want to go but then he remembered that if he went home he would be able to see the man. So the boy got up and ran to the women with a huge smile on his face when the women saw this she chuckled and grabbed the boys hand and they walked home. When they got home the boy went straight back to sitting at the window waiting for the man to come home. He waited there for hours, the women started to get worried because the man was taking forever to get home. She tried to call him but he didn't answer. When the phone rang the women was happy because she thought that it was the man calling her back, but she was in for a rude awakening when it was actually a doctor at the nearby hospital. "Hello, is this Mrs. Danials?" The man on the other end asked. "Yes this is she." The women answered. "Hi miss, I'm Dr. Renals, and I'm greatly sorry to inform you that your husband was in a car accident and was gravely injured..." the doctor started to say before he was cut off. "I'm on my way." The women said before hanging up and grabbing the boy and going to the hospital. When the arrived the doctor had informed them that the man didn't make it through surgery and had died on the table. The boy didn't know what was happening until the women told him that he wouldn't be able to see the man again. The boy and the women cried for days after that. Jamie and Blake had gone over to see why the boy hadn't come to the park in a while, Jaime helped the boy through the whole thing a little. But little did they know that the worst was yet to come. -A Year Later- The man has been dead for a year and it was hard for the boy at first and it still is but with the help of Jaime and Blake it has been easier. A lot of things changed in a year, the boy is a year older and is doing all the housework, he cooks and cleans. His mother started to drink and do drugs and she also started to bring home new men every day. Sometimes he would hide away so that he doesn't have to hear them. There was also another big change, his mother would become abusive, she would look at him and she would get mad at him and she would hit him all because he looked more like the man each day she looked at him. The men that the women would bring home even started to abuse him. They didn't hit him hard enough to leave marks and if they did it was never in a place that would be seen. He would wear long-sleeved shirts every day to hide the bruises. Jamie realized that something was wrong but never really asked anything because he knew that if he did the boy would just shut him out. The boy would stay up late cleaning the mess that the women and the men that she brought home that night. Sometimes he would also be up late to tend to his wounds or because he was in so much pain. He never told anyone what was happening to him because he loved the women and didn't want to lose her too. So to him, it was worth the pain if it meant that he could keep her.
