The Princess's Bride

The world has changed. The Great War that occurs changes everything between the humans and the creatures of the underworld. After the vampire won the war, the Queens’ made sure everyone knows who is the new ruler of all realm and world between the humans and creatures. Not everyone fond of them and not everyone wants to take orders from a woman especially when it is known as the most feared bloodsuckers. People who see them as evil will never know how much they love each other. They will never know how much their princess meant to them. Queen Kora, the daughter of King Dracul, was crown as the ruler after her father perished in the war. Queen Kora was known as the Golden Warrior because of her golden armor with her golden hair and eyes. Her bride, Queen Kharis was the daughter of the Royal Russian family of vampire, the Ivanov. Every creature, male and female was fond of her. Everyone wants to make Queen Kharis as her or his bride because of how beautiful and mesmerizing she looks. With her light brown hair and hazel eyes, she's known as the most beautiful princess in Russia. But after Queen Kora marked her as hers, she changed. Her hair changes to the color of golden, her hazel eyes changes to the most beautiful golden orbs people have ever seen. King Dracul, knew her princess needs an heir, so he summons the great witch to help his daughter to have her own child. Some say that the witch put a curse on the crown princess but for Kora, it's what gave her wife and her the perfect undead life. King Dracul was the happiest vampire in the realm when his princess told him that her wife was carrying their child. Without his knowledge, a group of rogue creatures tried to dethrone the king. They have been planning to kill and m******e the royal family for years. But none of their plans ever work against the royal family. News about princess Kharis gave birth to a princess was spread like wildfire. Some of them questioned the crown princess. Is it true that the crown princess truly born with the royal blood in her veins? How is it possible for both females to have a child? These questions have been plaguing everyone’s mind but no one dares to question it in front of the King. Years after the birth of Princess Thana, the first wave of the Great War erupted in a small village of werewolves where the village was burned to the ground. Years after that event, princess Thana was old enough to stand side by side with her mothers’, protecting every weak creature that needs protection. The war lasted for 3 years before the King transferred all of his power to his only child, Kora. When the group of rogue meets Princess Kora and Kharis, they were all stunned to see how strong the princesses were. At last, the vampire won with King Dracul perished. Years after the Great War, princess Thana was in charge of dealing with criminals and war prisoners that were kept in the Royal Prison. But one day while she was cruising the castle, her friends, Dominika, Aurelia and Sephora were transporting a very dangerous criminal when the leash broke and leaves the criminal in loose. "Well damn....." They sigh while looking up to see the dragon trying to break free from the prison. "Dominika, you're a dragon, talk to him." Dominika, the daughter of the great warrior dragon looked at her friends, speechless. She removes her black hair that was blocking her view and turns to her friends. "Not to offend anyone but he's an old criminal who just escaped from us. Why do you think he would listen to me?" Sephora, the daughter of the great witch sigh at the sight of her friends. She is one of the wise one in the group and also one of the most feared witches in the realm after her mother. With her white hair that she inherited from her mother, she's known as the White Witch in the realm. "Aurelia, please do something." Aurelia turns to Sephora and turn back at the sight above them. She's the daughter of the most feared and brave general of the Royal vampire army. Creatures often mistook her for being weak because of how girly she acts but when she is in the battlefield, she was known as the Red Warrior. "Well, just take him down. He's flying towards the academy. And if we stay here without doing anything, there will be casualties," Sephora sigh. Dominika transformed herself into a dragon and Aurelia jumped on to her back. Sephora, on the other hand, used her broomstick to keep up with her friends. Aurelia was getting her crossbow ready when she sees a red flash on the ground. "THANA’S HERE!!!" She shouted. Both Sephora and Dominika looked down and they both saw the red flash. "We're doom," They both said in unison. Sephora reaches for her wand while Dominika roar and flaps her wings harder. The old dragon flew closer to the academy while being chased by Dominika. Sephora notices that if they didn't get to the dragon fast enough, he would crash into the field, filled with students. Thana, the only heir to the Vampire throne. Her mothers’, Queen Kora and Kharis both respected and well known for their beauty, mind and how ruthless they can be towards traitors to their kingdom. Some speculated where did Thana comes from but the vampire elders know better than anyone else. Thana was well known throughout the realm. She has a long golden hair with the most beautiful golden eyes that show she's a royalty. Her nails are in deep blood red in color that she inherited from her mothers’. Everybody wants to be with Thana because of her perfect figure and how great she was on the battlefield. Every guy wants to be her mate for her beauty. But none of them know she is not fond of the opposite s*x. While she was watching the calm waters near her palace, a distress call from her friends echoing in her mind. She instantly knows they’re all in danger. Thana immediately took her sword and her sacred golden spear before running for their aid. Using her vampiric speed she immediately saw her friends and the dragon that’s flying towards the Academy. Thana knows the road too well. It went straight towards the school. She ran across the forest with such speed that the trees around her path snap like twigs. The guards on the school gates noticed the disturbance and quickly informs the school. Thana stopped in front of the gate and looked above. "Princess?! What's going on?!" The guards frantically asked. "Open the gates now!" Thana reaches for her golden spear and ran towards the school ground. Warning siren was sound. The students all gathered at the emergency assembly point. Essence, the daughter of the great Talan, the most powerful werewolves in the realm, was helping group of little pups to the assembly point safely. She is the youngest daughter of the Great Talan and always working hard to please everyone. She was known as the weakest werewolves in the pack but her birth mother knows that once she found her true mate, she will be an amazing and probably the most powerful warrior in the pack. Essence is the most beautiful werewolf in the academy. She has a waistline brown hair with the most enchanting brown eyes. But once she shifted to her wolf formed, every male wolf wishes to make her as their bride. Now and then, her parents did try to find her true mate, but unfortunately, none was great enough. None gave her the vibe and butterflies. At some point, they all thought that her mate probably died in the war. A loud roar startled everyone that gather at the assembly point. They all turn their attention to the incoming dragon that is flying towards their direction followed by another dragon and a witch. As the old dragon flew closer, Dominika released a loud roar for Thana. Sephora was trying to hit the dragon with her magic while Aurelia was shooting the dragon with her crossbow. "WATCH OUT!!!!" Aurelia screams from above. Essence's eyes landed on the 3 pups that were in the middle of the field playing. She wanted to save them but her sister grabbed her arms instead. "If you do something reckless, you’ll be dead. There is no way you will make it in time. The dragon is close!” Moana, Essence sister warned. "But the pups!" Essence was on verge of crying when the dragons roar getting nearer. Essence hugs her sister because she doesn't want to witness the death of the young pups. A strong wind gushes at them and a loud scream can be heard coming from the impact. "Oh... Shit...." Moana said and Essence turns to look at the direction of the impact. Thana was beneath the dragon, protecting the pups. Thana tried to fight the dragon and pushed him off of her but she fails to do so. Thana heard the pups cry for help and instantly her eyes turn blood red. Thana screams and presses a button on her spear to make it longer. "AURELIA!!!!!" Thana screams for her friends. If the dragon pushes her even further in, she would hit the pups. Aurelia jumps off Dominika's back and keeps on shooting the old dragon with her crossbow. Dominika changed to her human form and try to reach for the pups. "THEY’RE ALL SAFE!!!" Dominika shouted and ran towards the crowd. "SEPHORA MAKE HIM GO TO SLEEP!!" Thana screams. The old dragon roar and bite on Thana's shoulder completely injuring the princess. "THANA!!!" Dominika shouted and transformed into her dragon form. She roars and grabbed the old dragon with her mouth, sending him flying off her friends. Dominika stepped on the old dragon chest and let him squirmed under her until he transformed back to his human self. Sephora landed next to him and put a spell to make him sleep. Dominika transformed into her human form and ran towards Thana. "Sephora help her!" Sephora kneels and try to heal her Friend. "The wound is too deep." Sephora began to panic. Aurelia and Dominika looked at each other. "Stop... Put on something Dominika... You're naked." Thana said to her friends and sigh. "Seriously you guys. I'm a vampire, I can heal myself. Geez!" Thana reached out and Sephora grabbed her hands to pull her up. She fixes her leather armor suit and turns around to see all the student watching them in awe. "Sephora go check the pups," Thana order and Sephora nod. She walks towards the crying pup and smiles. "They’re all okay." Essence thanked Sephora for checking on them. Thana bent down to picked up her golden spear. When she turned to the student, her eyes landed on a brown-haired beauty. For a moment, Thana doesn't know what to say to everyone. Sephora talks to the principal and apologizes for the disturbance. "Thana. Let's go home?" Sephora asked her before Thana nod. "Dominika...." Dominika transformed into her dragon form and let Aurelia and Thana climb on to her. With a single flap, Dominika sent them both to the air and fly towards the royal castle. Sephora smiled at everyone and whistled for her broom. "We can't wait to enroll here sir," She said before flying off. *** ESSENCE'S POV WHAT... JUST... HAPPEN?! For a moment there I thought I was swimming inside that gorgeous golden orbs. Then her Friend just... woke me up! "Essence did you just? No way!" Moana gasp. "What?!" Barion, Moana's mate decided to interrupt my sister's train of thought with his kiss. Moana pulled away and gasp again. "Little Essence just found her mate." Barion turns to me with a smile. "Congratulation Essence. Who's the lucky guy?" Moana laughed. "The lucky 'guy' is the princess. I saw how their eyes interlocked with each other for a second there." My eyes widen. Is she serious?! "Moana, stop being a child. There's no way she's my mate, she is a woman." Barion laugh. "You do know our queens’ both female. And then comes your mate." "SHE IS NOT MY MATE." Moana chuckled at my outburst. "The more you said no, the more she is close to you. Besides, the girls will be enrolling here next week." Okay, how is it possible for her to know that? "I thought royalty does not require education. All they do is sit around and be pretty." Barion and Moana laughed. "Essence who do you think fight the war the most?" He asked. "The Warriors... Dad... Mom... Our brothers,” Barion shakes his head. "Them. The royal family and their associate." I will never believe those bloodsuckers was fighting in the war. But she did save the pups. "Moana. Aren't you supposed to be taking care of the pups?" Moana smiles and looks at me pleadingly. "Could you do that for me? I have a date with my mate," I sigh. It will always end like this. I will not be surprised if she gets pregnant in the end, "Fine." And I'm such a pushover. "Thanks, little sis," I wave her off and walk towards the pups. "Alright, kids. Let's go inside," The three pups who was just nearly meet their doom came to me and hug my legs. "We're sorry." They apologize. "It's okay," I said and lead them inside. Inside, the whole school was talking about the incident that just happened moments ago. The werewolves, the witches, the dragons, even the humans, and vampires talks about it. "Hey Essence, is it true the princess is your mate?" What the … How did they..? Barion... "No," I simply said and ignore them. I casually walk through the hallways when suddenly a group of vampires appears in front of me. Oh no, They going to hit me again. I closed my eyes, trying to be strong, waiting for whatever that might come to me. When I feel nothing whatsoever, I open my eyes just to see them kneeling in front of me. "Essence Morag, we would like to apologize for our behavior and action towards you." I don't know if my eyes could open wide enough for this. For as Long as I know the vampires hated me. And now they kneeling in front of me?! "Um... Okay..." "Please your highness. Forgive us." Your Highness?! Did some kind of disease go viral while I was busy feeling sorry for myself? "I'm serious... It's fine." They all stood up and bow to me. This is... creepy. "Why did those vampires just kneeling in front of you?" I know that voice. It's my Best Friend, Lyla. "I have no idea." Lyla chuckled. "You do know how Barion likes to talk, right?" I sighed. "I've noticed." "But is it true?" I turn my attention at her. "To be honest, I did feel something when I look into her eyes. I didn't sense any fear or simply lust. Just love and care." Lyla squeal in excitement. "I can't believe my best friend finally found her mate!!!" Suddenly she stops jumping up and down before touching my shoulders. "Your parents," She said grimly. "Look, I'm not sure if she's the one either. And if my parents know, I would die." And I'm not even joking. My parents will kill me if I don't marry a guy. They need an heir and they want an alpha male to be my groom. "Let's go to class," Lyla said and smiled. *** THANA'S POV I jumped off of Dominika’s back when she landed in front of the castle. Without saying anything, I walk towards the castle door, making my way towards my mothers’ wing. I strip off my armor and knocked on my mothers’ chamber door. I heard a soft come in before opening the door myself. I tried to ignore the scent of arousal that gushes towards me as I walk in. Seriously, my parents probably have s*x all day and night. It’s a wonder why didn’t I ever have any siblings, to begin with. I shake the thoughts and smile at them. "Did I interrupting something?" I asked. "No honey. Wha...." Mommy or Queen Kharis didn't get to finished her question when she noticed my shoulder. "What happened?" She was concerned. "A little scratch, that's all." Mommy pulls me to the bed and uses her sharp finger to tear my shirt. "Oh Thana!" She touched the wound with her fingertips. "Kora. Come here." Mom walked out of the bathroom topless and looked at me. "Who did this to you?" Mommy asked me. "Some criminal. Anyway, this is not why I'm here." Mom sits next to Mommy and put her arms around her. "Why are you here then?" Mom was not happy at all that I'm here. "Kora be nice." Mom shrugged. "Can you two tell me about this mate thing?" Mom raised both of her eyebrows and smirk. "Does our little Thana found someone?" She clearly teasing me about it. "You can say that." Mommy smiled. "Well when I first met your mom, she's the only one I've been thinking and only she can cure my sadness after your Grandmother died." Mommy started. Mom took mommy's hand and kiss it. "When I first met your Mommy, she's the only person that I love and will cherish. She's my heart and without her, you wouldn't be here." I sigh, its lovely and all but it’s not the answer I was looking for. "Well, you are both vampires and royalty. But what if... Umm... She's not royalty or a vampire?" My parents both turned to me with questioning looks. "Are you trying to tell us that your mate is not a vampire, Thana?" Mom asked. I slowly nod. "I get the spark. My stomach exploded, her scent is killing me, weakening me. She's the one yes?" Mom and Mommy look at each other. "We don't mind. Who is she?" Mom asked. "Sephora said she's the daughter of the great Talan?" She grinned. "Talan Morag... I remember him from the northern side." Mommy smiled. "So we’ll be in-laws with Ardra and Talan?" I am confused. Probably that's the girl's parents name. "What time is it?" They asked in unison. "5?" They both look at each other and turns to me with a sly smile. "Take your sword and spear. Fight me," Mom said and walk towards the wardrobe. "What? Why?" I asked since its all too sudden for me. "Oh Thana. You have a mate. Let's see if you can protect her when she needed you the most." Mommy wink. I sigh and stood up from the bed. "I just wrestle a dragon in front of her." I retort. "With the help of your friends yes?" I nodded. "Come on Thana. Are you afraid?!" My mom looks at me with that stupid proud smile of hers. She just challenges me to a duel, how can I say no to that?
