Hope Cole's world has just fallen apart. The pack Alpha has just been murdered, and her brother, Jonathon, is the one who pulled the trigger. Out of anger and revenge, Alpha Edward's Beta orders her parents to face the firing squad with Jonathon, and she to be taken into custody and placed into the pack Omega quarters to be used as labor. At the young age of seventeen, she faces horrors that should have completely killed her. However, the goddess had other things in store for her. Soon she would meet her mates, Alpha Edward's twin sons, Nicholas and Noah. Will they save her from a world of torment, or become the tormentors themselves?

What's Happening
*Hope POV* I was pulled from my bed before daylight, and thrown into a small room in the Omega quarters of the pack house. I heard the door being locked from the outside, and started to scream for help. “Shut your mouth! You have to stay in there quietly until the Beta comes for you!” a male voice called from outside the door. I was so confused. Why did the Beta want to see me, and why was he holding me captive? I did what I was told, and sat shivering in the corner of the room. It was so cold that I could see my breath, and here I was in just a thin gown. If he didn’t come for me soon, I would definitely freeze to death. It was a very long time before the door flung open, and two guards came in and pulled me to my feet. “Beta Jeffery will see you now,” they said, and dragged me down the hallway. I was still unsure of what was happening, and I hoped that this was all just a huge mistake. I was taken to the ceremonial room of the pack house, and at the head table was Beta Jeffery, and the Gamma, Gregory. My parents and brother, Jonathan, were on their knees in front of them, and their heads were bowed. “Come forward, child. I want to speak with you,” Beta Jeffery stated coldly. With one of the guards still holding my arm, I moved to where the Beta told me to go. He stared at me with malice in his eyes, and asked me something I had no idea how to answer. I knew I had to be truthful since Gamma Gregory had the ability to tell if someone was lying. “As you can see, your parents and brother are here before us. One of them is facing some pretty serious charges. Our Alpha was murdered tonight, and someone was seen running from the pack house and into your home. Unless you want to join them, you need to tell me whatever you know about this crime. I’m sure you have overheard something,” he explained. I had no idea the Alpha had been killed, and I also didn’t know why someone would run from the pack house to our home. Everyone was sleeping when I finally went to bed, so I had no idea why we were all here. “I don’t know anything, and I’m sure they don’t either. They were sleeping long before I fell asleep. I had a paper to work on for school that was due in the morning. I didn’t hear anyone leave, and I didn’t hear anyone come in. All I know is that I was pulled from my bed, thrown into a very cold room, and now I’m here,” I replied. He stared at me with his cold gray eyes, and then glanced at the Gamma. When Gregory nodded, he asked me another, more direct question. “Are you positive that your brother was sleeping? Could he have been faking it until you went to bed? I will be frank with you, Hope. We know it was Jonathon who did it, because he was overheard by friends stating he wanted Alpha Edward dead for something involving a girl your brother had been seeing. Do you know anything about this?” he asked. I did. Jonathan had come in from training earlier that evening complaining that the Alpha had forced himself on the girl my brother was sure was his mate. He said several times that he was going to put a bullet in Alpha’s head. I wanted to deny it, but what was the use? I would be caught, and it would make the situation even worse. Jonathan’s eyes were focused on me, and with just a slight shake of the head, he told me not to tell. I mouthed the words “I’m sorry”, and told the truth. “I wasn’t there with his friends, so I can’t say what was spoken then. However, I have heard him wish the Alpha dead. If I’m being honest, for good reason. A girl my brother is convinced is his mate came to him and accused the Alpha of hurting her in the worst possible way. Jonathan confronted Alpha Edward, and he didn’t deny it. He actually gloated about it, according to Jon. That’s when I heard him tell my parents that if he got a chance, he would put a bullet between his eyes,” I replied. I heard my mother begin to sob, and I instantly felt badly for being honest. I had probably just sealed my brother’s fate. “I’m sorry Jonathon, I’m so sorry. I love you, brother,” I began to apologize. I wanted to go to my family, but the guard held onto me tightly, forbidding me from doing so. “Enough!” The Beta bellowed. He stood from his chair and moved until he was standing in front of me. “Because of your honesty, I am going to spare your life. However, by the time I’m finished with you, you will wish you died with them,” he smirked. He then turned to my family, and ordered them to die by firing squad immediately. I began to protest. I begged him not to kill them. My parents had nothing to do with what happened to the Alpha. They had learned about his anger when I did. “Please, no! They didn’t know. I swear, they didn’t know. He wasn’t in his right mind. Wouldn’t you do anything to protect your mate?” I asked. The Beta stopped in his tracks and turned back around to face me. I had pissed him off, and now I was afraid for my own life. “No, I wouldn’t. After she had my son, I killed her. She was a worthless woman who deserved what happened to her. So, no, I wouldn’t,” he snapped. I stood there with my mouth open, and couldn’t believe what he had just said. All the years I have known the Beta, I never took him for this kind of man. He always seemed so kind before. He ordered the guards to remove my family and carry out their sentence. My father and brother followed along without speaking another word, or even giving me a second glance. My mother, however, sobbed the whole way while constantly looking back at me in disgust. It was the last time I would ever lay eyes on them again. The ones who were holding on to me were ordered to take me back downstairs. I was terrified of being placed in that dreadfully cold room again, but instead, I was put in the Omega servant’s quarters. I was given warmer clothes to put on, and told that I would no longer be attending school, or living as a free girl. I was now property of the pack house, and would work to earn my keep. Everything I had ever dreamed of in my life was harshly taken away from me, and my life would never be the same again.
