The Rogue King's Queen

DARIUS Sweat beads rolled down my face as I trudged through the silent forest. The winds whispering amongst themselves as I growled at any passing creature.  I straightened my posture and strode into the rouge camp.  All eyes turned to me, their eyes dark and gloomy as I glared at them.  "Darius Quinn is back!" One of the biggest rouges shouted his cold voice such a contrast to the mischievous glint in eyes.    "I am, and you better get of your high horse, Ben or we will have a problem," I growled out and he glared at me before he lowered his head.  "Sorry King, I did not mean to get out of line," he replied and I snort at his audacity to lie to my face.  "Of course you didn't that is why you are still standing in my space!" I roared and everyone backed away including Ben. "I am back and I hope you did not lose the respect you had for your King while I was gone, challenge me right here and right now if you have a problem."  No one steps forward and I grunted before I turned and walked over to my hut.  I stopped as I got to my door and a young rouge pup crashed into my leg, a small gasp is heard and I looked up to see a young female who stood a metre or so away as she watched with glassy eyes.  "Hey little guy," I said, as I bent down to his height.  "Hi sir," he looked up at me before he sat on my knee.  I chuckled at his innocent move, as he talked about his wolf and mother.  After a couple of minutes of me just listening to his talk, I picked him of my knee and set him back on the ground. Before I pushed him in the direction of his mother.  She smiled and hugged him close as he held onto her tightly.  I sighed and walked inside my hut.  I am feared. Respected. Revered. Strong.  But I'm not worthy of the mate the moon goddess granted me.  Hey guys  First chapter YAY!  What'd u think??  Good or bad?  Was it eye catching or not so much?  Taya Short yes but they will get longer :)
