For twenty years, Iris Donahue lived a life built on silence, lies, and locked doors. Raised within the walls of the Red River Pack, she was protected to the point of imprisonment—never knowing that her parents’ fear was rooted in an ancient prophecy, or that her fate had been sealed long before her first breath. Haunted by dreams of a faceless man beyond a burning barrier, Iris longed for the mate she believed the Moon Goddess had destined for her, unaware that finding him would awaken a power capable of reshaping the world.

When Iris finally escapes the confines of her past, fate leads her straight into the arms of Alpha Skye Bradford of the Blue Lake Pack—her true mate, and the Fire Elemental chosen by prophecy. Their bond ignites more than love; it awakens Iris’s own power as a rare Negative Fire Elemental, granting her the curse of immortality and placing a target on her back. What should have been a blessing becomes a sentence, for Iris is not merely powerful—she is the key to an ancient evil’s return.

As buried truths surface, Iris and Skye discover that their parents once made a devastating bargain to protect the Elementals: a deal with a witch named Victoria, who promised safety in exchange for a future sacrifice. Iris was meant to be that sacrifice. Worse still, her memories, friendships, and childhood were stripped away to delay the inevitable. The revelation fractures families, ignites rage, and exposes the fragile line between love and betrayal.

Unbeknownst to most, this generation marks the first awakening of the Elementals in a thousand years—wolves chosen to embody Fire, Ice, Water, Time, Earth, Wind, Light, Shadows, Moon, Thunder, Force, and Flowers. While only a few have awakened their wolves, others feel the pull of dormant power stirring beneath the surface, binding mates together long before they understand why. Among them are Alpha Tyler Donahue and Skyler Bradford—enemies by blood, yet unknowingly destined as mates, their bond suppressed by prophecy and fear.

But the witch Victoria is not the true threat.

She serves something far older.

A greater evil sleeps beneath the world—an ancient devil who has failed time and again to steal the Elementals’ power. Each millennium, he is forced back into slumber by the Time Elemental, his defeat erased as history resets. This time, however, the balance has shifted. Iris’s immortality makes her the perfect vessel. The devil seeks to claim her as his mate, share her power, and rise immortal—free to unleash hell upon the earth.

As Elementals begin to awaken and alliances form across packs, the truth becomes clear: if time resets again, they will lose everything. Memories, bonds, love—all erased.

To win, they must remember who they are before time is rewritten.

Bound by fate, love, and sacrifice, the Elementals must rise together to defy destiny itself—because this time, failure will not simply cost them their lives.

It will cost the world.

Disturbed - Indestructible
SKYE POV – CHAPTER 1 Growing up, I was taught to be a man and fight with my mind. Well, if it isn’t obvious, my fists too. But most importantly, my mind. There’s nothing smarter than to out think your opponent. Don’t give the first punch. His the predator, and you’re the prey. He wants to devour you. Kill you like there’s no tomorrow. Like he's won the jackpot taking down his first scrumptious meal. Analyze his moves. Watch his stance. His footwork. The look in his eyes. His breathing. Let him throw the first punch. Feel his strength. And take note of his weaknesses. Then trick him. Make him become the prey and you the predator. When all is done, take your victory and savor it. “How much did we lose?” “None Alpha" Stellan, my head warrior appears with blood drenched clothes and a smile on his face like he hadn’t just fought another war. “Good. Burn the bodies, clean up, and have everyone settle back in their homes." I say as I make my way back to the packhouse. My father appears from the bunker I had all pack members hide in to keep them safe. Although he was the Alpha before me and can hold his own, I can't risk it. I can't bare the thought of anything happening to him. "Rogues?" He asks as he steps beside me. “Yes but larger than the last lot. What do you think?" "Could be a witch involved. Would explain why they're larger. Rogues are normally smaller than the average sized wolf." We turn the corner and make our way to the study. "Could be. But why would Witches work with Wolves? I thought they despised our kind." We enter the study, and I head straight for the phone. "Hello." "Elder Richard. Hope this is not a bad time." "Never, Alpha Skye. How can I help?" "We just finished another ambush from rogues. How fast can you be here? We need to revise a plan on how to rid of these ambushes" This cannot continue. We've had 3 ambushes for the year, and it's only July. I'm exhausted. This has to end, or I'll start to lose my s**t. "I'll be there in 30" He drops the call before I could say another word. The stench of blood and dirt follows me to my room. I discard my shorts and hop in the shower to remove this God forsaken smell. As werewolves, our senses are ten times heightened than humans. We can see you clearly in the dark. We can smell you from miles away. We can hear you coming from afar. Whereas humans can’t. Not to mention the s*x is way better. With the blood and dirt successfully removed from my body, I hop out the shower and wrap a towel around my waist as I head to put on some clean clothes. Navigating my way to my office, I’ve noticed several pack members moving hastily around the pack house. Dresses in one hand and wine in the other. Are they having a party? I wouldn’t put it past them. They take any excuse to get drunk and have s*x. Finally, I reached the heavy wooden double doors that held a plaque with my name engraved on it. I open them to find dad and Elder Richard already there and in deep conversation. Their heads swirl towards me as I enter. “Elder Richard" I extend my hand. He shakes it “Alpha Skye" “Have a seat" He makes himself comfortable on the black velvet sofa I bought as soon as I became Alpha. Next to him, dad was seated with his hands folded forward and elbows resting on his knees. “I called you here because the countless ambushes of rogues needs to be controlled. We’ve had three challenges in the past year. I don’t know how word got out about the Alpha of Blue Lake that doesn’t have a wolf but this needs to be stopped or else that might be the downfall of my pack and I simply cannot have that" Being the Alpha of the largest pack in the country can be quite intimidating. But being the Alpha with no wolf makes you the target for countless wars. “All of those ambushes are not from rogues that belong in this country. I don’t know how word got out, but it got out all around the world. " A frown settled on both, dad and Elder Richards faces. I groaned. Of cause word would get out all around the world. Another way to get rid of the largest pack in the country. "What I've noticed is, each ambush, the rogues doubles in size." "Interesting." He says as he scrunches his face, thinking. "I'll have to check in the archives about that." “Any news on the other matter?” folding my arms across my chest, I hastily await his reply. “Not as of yet. But what I’ve read in the archives gave me a bit of insight into what it might be, but we can’t be sure until you’ve actually shifted.” He says. “And what might that be?” Dad finally breaks his silence, arranging his posture to face Elder Richard. “You’re a Pure blooded Alpha. As you’ve said, when you reached 18, your senses heightened, which means you do have a wolf but his dormant. I’m still looking into that matter as to why he is. We haven’t found anything else, but I can feel we’re getting close, " He confirms. With a nod of approval, I say “Well then, please do find out as soon as possible. I need to find the reason why my wolf won’t surface” “Have you had any other connection with your wolf? As in communicate with him?” Elder Richard asks. “No, I can feel there’s a barrier blocking our connection. I’ve never heard a word before. " A frown weighed the corners of my lips as I stood up to look out the window. I never imagined becoming of age and not meeting my wolf. All of my friends got their Wolves as soon as they reached 18. They were lucky enough to find their mates the same night. I’ve always wanted a mate. There was no doubt in my mind that I’d want to share my life with someone special. The love that consumed you. Makes you whole. After watching my parents for years, I wanted the love they shared for each other. The other half of your soul. The very person that was made for you. At the tender age of 18, I changed my mind. As much as love could save you, it can also be your downfall. It’s gullible. It makes you do things you never wanted or pictured doing in your life. The Mate bond is worse. You would literally fall in love with the person you hate. It can trick you into believing those attractions and feelings were real. But it’s not. It’s strings that’s being dragged towards each other to make a simple knot. You were once enemies, and now you’re laying your life on the line for them because of a stupid mate bond. “Well then, I will go further into the archives and start gathering information. I will inform you as soon as I find something." A half smile tugged at the corner of his lips before he leaves the study. Dad gave my shoulder a reassuring squeeze “Don’t worry, we’ll find answers soon, son.” I returned with a half shrug. “I hope so. For the sake of this pack” And my sanity.
