NICARRA RACE: HYBRID (ANGEL AND UNKNOWN) AGE:18 years old. PARENTS): Mother is unknown but her father is one of the strongest of the fallen angels. MATE: Crown prince Warren. CHARACTER: Nicara is raised as a normal child by her foster grand mother who is a white witch and coven leader and has a very strong positive influence on Nicarra's values and character and whom Nicarra loves dearly. An accident unleashes Nicarra's powers which leaves her grand mother mortally wounded. Without her grand mothers protection, she is treated as an abomination and forcefully sent to the land of the Sirens where she meets Nyssa who is a royal siren but is treated like an outcast because she is a hybrid and they become best of friends. Nicarra is kind-hearted and friendly but lonely and yearns for a family which makes her very protective of those she considers to be friends. The constant rejection and bullying however forces her to be guarded and develop a tough outer persona with a sharp tongue to protect herself and her friends but the fear of hurting another person prevents her from using the full extent of her powers. She encourages Nyssa to take her tests who is hesitant to go without her and is surprised to find her admission letter to the SOME through special candidacy but doesn't know her sponsor who chooses to remain anonymous. WARREN/MENACE Race: Dragon Age:19 years old. Parents: Dragon King and Queen. Features: Feminine facial features with long lashes, long straight nose, piercing grey eyes, pink lips and shoulder length chestnut brown hair which is always styled in a high bun. 6ft 7 with tanned skin and well toned body. Mate: Nicara Character: Been an only child and heir apparent of the king dragon Warren was sent by his father to be raised among lycans who are allies, for protection until he gets his dragon. He is raised by the wife of the Alpha king along side her son Lucas and daughter Lisa but trained in the arts of war by the Lycan king himself. He is naturally reserved and quiet and only talks freely with the Luna queen and his closest friend Lucas. He is respected for his genius and physical capabilities and feared for the ferocity of his Dragon Menace. He returns home with Lucas at age sixteen to find his mother has taken Cecil as his chosen mate to keep the royal bloodline pure, but rejects her. When dark magic is cast upon Eric, Menace is the first to sense it and buries himself with Warrens emotions, deep inside Warrens mind to protect them both and only comes out when necessary. Warren becomes more vulnerable, seemingly emotionless, complacent to princely his duties and blind to Cecil's faults and excesses. Warren gains admission into SOME after passing his tests. Menace detests Cecil and despite her magical hold on Warren and is able to detect Nicarra as his mate at first glance, whose presence weakens the powers of the magic used on Warren which slowly triggers the emotions locked away by Menace. LUCAS/VARIAD RACE: LYCAN . AGE: 20 YRS OLD PARENTS: ALPHA KING JARED RHINEHORN AND LUNA QUEEN WINTER RHINEHORN MATE: NYSSA FEATURES: Lucas has fair skin with a huge muscular body covered in warrior tatoos. He has black raven hair which he cuts in modern styles with green eyes, a long nose and dimples. He is very social and is always the life of the party, a manwhore and cassanova. He loves to party and often drags Warren with him on his escapades but takes his position as Alpha very seriously. He is resourceful and an excellent tactician thanks to his father whom he respects and loves. He is loyal to his friends and family but deadly to anyone he considers a threat. He is Warrens best friend and is the only person that can change Warren's mind on any issue except for Cecil which eventually causes a rift between them which escalates into a brawl that gets Nicarra badly hurt.When he finds out Nyssa is his mate, he is afraid of her rejection because of his past reputation and doesn't know how to approach her thereby keeping his distance but she mistakes his actions as a rejection from him because she is a hybrid. NYSSA/ JAKA RACE: HYBRID (WITCH/SIREN) AGE: 17 YEARS OLD PARENTS: ROYAL SIREN RESUS OCEANUS AND GRAND WITCH RUTH OCEANUS. FEATURES: Nyssa is 6ft 4inches tall, milky skin, long golden hair, sea blue eyes, pink lips and very slim figure. CHARACTER Nyssa was raised by two loving parents but witnessed the public humiliation and insults her mother faced for choosing to marry her father who had once given up his position as a siren crown prince to be with her but was late re-enstated. The mothers refused to let their children play with her out of spite, and the children would bully her at every opportunity except Darell and his best friend Sana who were much older and more understanding of the situation. The rejection and bullying affected Nyssa's confidence and influenced her sensitivity, timidity and lack of confidence in herself, it also caused her hesitation to embrace her siren and fully merge with it. Nicarra's arrival and friendship stopped the bullying and the girls found solace in each others company. Nicarra's success in gaining admission to the SOME with distinction at her first attempt was shocking news to everyone including her parents because Sana among other sirens who were considered strong had taken the tests more than once. FATIMAH RACE: HYBRID (HALF SCRIBE/ HALF WHITE WITCH) AGE: 17 PARENTS: SHEIK TAOFEEK AND ALHAJA HAMIDA. FEATURES: Fatimah is 5ft 3 and plump. She has caramel skin with big beautiful brown eyes, a small nose which has a nose ring in it with small lips and chubby cheeks giving her a baby face. She is always modestly dressed in loose clothes with her head covered. CHARACTER Fatimah gained her admission through special candidacy, been a deans daughter. She is very curious by nature and loves to learn but despite her gentle demeanour has a habit of challenging status quos and questioning everything which often gets her into trouble. However, this attitude helps her to gain knowledge, understanding and wisdom beyond her years. She struggles to find her identity beneath the shadow of her father who is well respected among races for his piety and works hard to earn his approval but often seems to fall short besides him who is considered a genius and often called the professor of Ayats. Despite her age she grows to become the mother hen and glue that sticks the group of friends together and they become her shield. CECIL/JANA RACE: DRAGON AGE: 19 PARENTS: DRAGONS OF ROYAL DESCENT FEATURES Cecil is 5ft 9 inches with long strawberry blond hair which she styles in elaborate hairdos. She has amber coloured eyes with high cheek bones and thin lips. She loves wearing expensive outfits and has a high sense of fashion but is most times over dressed. CHARACTER Cecil was raised in a loveless home where everyone was considered a tool to be used to gain wealth or power, an ideology she embraced making her arrogant, snobbish and rude to people she considered to be beneath her. Her beauty and class won her the attention of the dragon queen who saw her as a good match for the crown prince but Cecil's ambitions was dashed when Warren rejected her. Her parents desperate to gain more power and raise their status sort the services of dark witches to gain Warrens favour. The magic doesn't work as expected but still comes at a great cost, the life of Cecil's true mate. After stating the consequences and conditions for the renewal of the spell, Cecil is warned of the consequences of failure and the threat of the appearance of Warrens true mate and the power of the mate bond which will slowly annul the spell. Cecil uses magic to try finding Warrens true mate to kill her but only discovers she is a powerful half breed, she therefore casts another spell on Warren to hate all half-breeds. Cecil's lust for power and desperation for success leads her deeper into darkness until she is fully possessed by an evil which ultimately destroys her. Character Relationship Grandma Ellis: Maternal and Foster grandmother to Nyssa and Nicarra. Coven leader and white witch. Ruth: Grand white witch, Mother to Nyssa Wife of crown prince Resus. Resus: Crown Prince of Sirens. Husband of Ruth and Nyssa's father. Dragon King: Oldest and strongest of all dragons. Warren's father. Dragon Queen: Warrens mother Alpha Jared: Alpha King, closest friend of the dragon king. Father to Lucas and Lisa. Taught Warren with Lucas in the art of war. Luna Winter: Wife to Jared. Gave birth to Lucas and Lisa but raised Warren as her own. Unable to watch the fight between her boys, her intervention leads to Nicarra's fatal injuries. Raqid: Father of Cecil. A greedy dragon who uses his wife and children for his own ambitions. Eventually killed by Cecil who uses him to renew Warrens love spell. Widasa: Wife of Raqid and mother of Havira, Gytra and Cecil. She encourages the use of herself and her children by her husband to elevate their status. Witnessing his gruesome death by Cecils hands drives her mad and she is killed at the order of the king dragon to stop her deadly rampage. Sheikh Taofeek: A respected and pious cleric. Father to Fatimah and Dean at the SOME. His love for Fatimah is overshadowed by his fear for her welfare because of her high level of curiosity, intellect and spirituality at such a young age. This causes conflict between them eventually and he discovers the error in his ways and decides to teach her all he knows. Pricipal Ethreal: Scool head of the SOME. Carries the responsibilty, security and welfare of the entire school on her shoulders and is only accountable to school board. A very powerful white witch. Sister Alvida: A teacher and religioous zeolot who looks down on other races and secretly teaches intolerance to cleric's. She makes an enemy of Fatimah who constantly questions her teachings and exposes her errors in class. She is eventually exposed, stripped of her position, expelled from the SOME and banished from the realm. FAIRIES: A race renowned for their knowledge of nature and healing. Very shy but love to congregate and party. Their females are always very beautiful. DRAGONS: A very reserved race but are sometimes considered arrogant because they rarely associate with other races aside lycans who are their closest allies. They are often quiet and difficult to have conversations with. They are always extremely tall. LYCANS: A very social race. They are very loud, competitive and love to party. Famous for their strength, speed, venomous bites and stamina. Their fast metabolism causes them to have large appetites and s****l urges which can only be controlled when they find their true mates. FOXES: Cunning race. Very athletic, smart and love to trade. Other races are wary of them but they are brilliant with numbers and excellent tacticians. They are recognised by their deep red and snow white hairs. BEARS: Very intelligent race with great strength and stamina. Have large physiques and are very hairy. Are extremely short tempered so tend to prefer being solitary. Recognised by their yellow eyes. WITCHES: humans with high levels of spirituality and vast knowledge of magic. Only white witches are allowed into the SOME. CLERICS: Pious males and females from different races, back grounds and realms who have developed high levels of spiritual purity, enlightenment and spirituality. DJINNS: Race of smokeless fire. Attend the night school at the SOME with the vampires. Can take human form. Recognised by their pungent smell of burnt wood. VAMPIRES: Arrogant beings that can take human form but cannot walk under the sun. Very dangerous when hungry but can be civil with people they like. Recognized by their pungent smell of rotten flesh which they hide beneath expensive perfumes. Take the night classes with the djinns. DEANS: Head of the faculties. Responsible for the activities and smooth running within several departments and classes. Teachers: Highly respected, knowledgeable and spiritually gifted beings from several races charged with sharing their wisdom and knowledge with the next generation. Responsible for taking attendance and teaching the students. NOAHS ISLAND: An enchanted piece of land surrounded by the river of woe converted into course which students must pass through. THE RIVER OF WOE: A large expanse of water rumoured to be the gathered waters of the great flood. Difficult to cross. SOME: The school of Magic and Enlightment created after the great flood as a sanctuary for creatures who were not human but refused to follow Ibliss. Later converted to a school where earlier students now parents sent their children for direction and knowledge.
