Meeting the Luna

"Easy!" Cooper ordered the sentinel pulling the human out of the car. She looked terrified, her eyeball couldn't stay still for thirty seconds, they kept bouncing from one end to the other of the grand mansion standing proudly before her. The shadows cast down by the trees added a spooky touch to the building. Everything felt strange, and Alexa wanted to crawl inside out just to die on the spot. "Go get me Frida!" The sentinel nodded, releasing the trembling human clinging on to the petals of the coat for dear life. Alexa watched as her abductor hurried off to the right side of the mansion. She squinted hard, following his frame that had been absorbed by the darkness, and there she saw the outline of a smaller house. Being too familiar with the wealthy lifestyle, she established that it was the servant's quarters. A slight wind blew from the south, bringing the hairs Al over her body to life as the tiny goosebumps spread over her skin like a bubble wrap. Alexa's shiver drew Cooper back to the living. There was so much to think about after that meeting, but that was no excuse to letting a human freeze out here. Then again, he couldn't take her in with nothing under his coat, simply indecent. "Get back in the car!" He commanded fixing his firm gaze upon her shivering frame. How amusing that humans so fragile and tiny had the guts to wage war upon his kind! Alexa just stared. "I've said-" he reached out and tugged her by the arm before opening the door, "-get in the bloody car!" Her muffled groan and the fear in her eyes stabbed Cooper's beast confidence to the fact that he was hurting her. It annoyed him to the depth of his core that he could never handle a human the same way he could to a fellow werewolf. The pain coursing through Alexa's arm was excruciating. It made her eyes moist and her heart race twice as fast. How could a mere grab result to such agony? And why was he angry at her? She barely knew him, not even a name. "Let go!" A feminine voice boomed from behind the beast. Whoever had spoken seemed to have some authority over the male 'manhandling' her from the way he obliged in a second. "I thought I raised you better than this Cooper Blant!" The female scolded as she made her appearance in a black robe. Cooper's eyes grew round like a child that had been caught eating forbidden candy. He took a step back while the female stopped by his side. Under the light spilling from above them, Alexa marvelled at the woman's flawless golden hair. She examined her from hair to toe. Her bare feet made Alexa's face frown more than the fear that had been whirling through her a minute ago. Cooper Blant, that's his name. "Oh honey, you look terrific. Did he chase you around for fun?" The woman asked genuinely concerned. Was that a thing Cooper did? Alexa couldn't help but wonder. If so, he must be a psychopath. "No! No! But...but I was brought here against my will." Cooper groaned running a hand through the length of his perfect hair. Why did her mother choose to meddle in his affairs? "Mom, this is my busine-" Sophia Blant quickly pressed a hand on her son's lips while moving forward to take Alexa's hands. "Honey, most of us didn't want to be here, but it all works out in the end... Just have a baby and he will start respecting you more." "Ba-ba-baby?" Alexa stammered, her cheeks flushing. If she was as pale as Sophia, her cheeks would bleed from all the blushing. "He wants me to have a baby?" She cried throwing her eyes at Cooper as she freed her hands from Sophia's hold. For the first time through the night, Cooper let out a half smile from the confusion and angst colliding on the human's face. He thought, why not have a little fun while at it? "Why are you surprised? You said you have a baby. A second one shouldn't be a problem eh?" ***ALEXA'S POV*** No! This couldn't be happening. Was that his endgame? Kidnap me then make me his baby machine? There were so many emotions running wildly inside me, rage, despair, confusion, pity, self blame. I was feeling too much, my chest wanted to explode right there and then. "Wait! She's human!" The older woman diverged the topic as she took a deep sniff of my air. Her once loving eyes suddenly seemed to grow cold before they were averted to the male standing tall behind her. "Cooper, why is there-" For a moment, it felt as though I wasn't there as the two started arguing. "I told you this is my business. She is my business!" "Till you ascend, I'm still the Luna! Your dad will not be happy to smell a human here at this hour. Your mate cannot be a human-" "She's NOT!" Cooper growled taking a step to his mother. His eyes...there it was, that glow, only this one was something close to wisteria. Twice in one night, I couldn't have created those two incidences at all. Just as the two were fighting, my abductor returned, beside him was a girl maybe in her twenties. She was in what I assumed was a servant's uniform. Her brown skin was seriously making me feel out of place after a lifetime of identifying myself as a African British female. "Get her some clothes!" Cooper took a seconds from his argument to deliver the order. "Yes Sir!" Nodded the girl before running back the direction they had come from. At least he still acknowledged my presence and that I was naked under his thin coat.
