I walked alongside Luca, enjoying the peacefulness of the evening. The sun had set, casting a warm orange glow over the street. The breeze was cool and refreshing, carrying the scent of blooming flowers and freshly cut grass. It was a welcome respite from the chaos of my day.
I was still thinking about what I wanted to say to Luca, how I could possibly thank him for everything he had done for Lily and me. Anna had kindly offered to stay with Lily, giving me some much-needed time to clear my head and process my emotions.
