Ha’ven had waited impatiently as Saba Monda took his time walking back along the path to the village. The need to see Emma grew deep inside him until it became an unbearable ache. He had breathed a sigh of relief when the village came into sight. Turning, he opened his mouth to demand the location of the river only to find Saba Monda’s eyes twinkling as he pointed to a path to the right.
