Astronomy Club

The morning had come far too quickly for my liking but regardless I get up seeing Estella clutching Ida on the floor and I cooed at the sight and snap a photo, but groaning as I stood up and crouched down in front of them.

"Stella time to get up. We have school." I gently said as I shook her until I heard her groan and wave my hand away.

"I'm up. I'll take care of Ida, go take a shower, and start breakfast."

I opened my mouth to respond, but she gave me a look and I smiled and nodded kissing both their foreheads and standing up.

"Oh by the way Estella, Dai will becoming, so listen for the doorbell." Estella made an inhuman sound as I walked up the stairs.

I shower and head to the room. I start parting my hair to do a half up and half down hairstyle and grab a black off-the-shoulder dress that says 'Black and Smart' with some sneakers I look for a shawl or sweater to match, but I couldn't so I brushed it off.

"Stella you can shower!" I yelled running downstairs.

"I sent her and Ida upstairs to shower. Gotta hand it to the shrimp, she's a good cook." Dai's voice said from the kitchen, "But I like your food better Tsubaki." he said once I entered the kitchen and gave me a quick glance at me as I walked to the counter to get my breakfast.

"I like Estella's cooking better. I'm better at baking. Estella is the chef around here and I'm the pastry chef." Dai's head slightly titled at my words.

"Really? I would like to try some of your pastries then. What do you like making?" I smiled slightly, looking down, playing with the sausage on my plate, and shrugged.

"I'll try and make anything. I don't really have a favorite thing to make as of yet." Dai made a sound and it was quiet after that as we waited for Estella and Ida.

I put our dishes in the sink and prepared lunch for Estella and me. I put a Jamaican beef patty with fries. I put some slices of cheese for Estella knowing she likes that and I put bacon strips in mine.

"What do you have for lunch Doughnut?" He gave me a little glare before opening his mouth to respond.

"I have food for lunch, and it's delicious, not as delicious as anything you cook though." My face felt like it was on fire, but I roll my eyes at him.

"Yea whatever Doughnut." I waved him off, leaning against the table as we waited for my sisters, I was about to call for Estella, but I heard her running down the stairs. Estella came down in a white tank top and a long gray-blue ombre skirt. I squinted my eyes because the entire outfit looked like something from my closet, even the flats she was wearing.

"Asteria I stole an outfit from you." I knew it! I rolled my eyes at her.

"I thought so. I want it back."

"Why? You aren't gonna wear it. You have a closet filled with new clothes with tags that you haven't used. I'm stealing this."

"You little-"

"As much as I would love to see a catfight. We have to get to school." Dai said in a bored tone.

"Shut up Powdered Doughnut." Estella and I both said at the same time.

I did a mental check and we were gone.

We watched as Estella walked Ida to the door, before she turned around and came back to us to walk to the high school. It was quiet as we walked three of us didn't talk. Estella walked to her part of the school and the two of us walked to our part of the school.

"Are you excited for Astronomy Club tonight?" Dai asked me as we got closer to our school.

"Yea, I'm excited, I get to observe the stars and talk about their stories."

"You seem to really like astronomy and history."

I gave a sheepish smile and tucked a hair behind my ear, "I absolutely love astronomy and history, but I prefer mythology. I want to do something involving the three of them though."

"There's probably a few careers dealing with those three topics, I can help, only if you want me to Tsubaki." Dai asked, Dai's tone, made it very clear that he wasn't giving me room to refuse his help.

"Of course, you know where I live. Drop by whenever Doughnut." I say with a shrug just as Honey and Ezra met up with us at the entrance.

"Rodas' mom kept him home and will be keeping him there until that asshole is actually locked up."

"Aww, that could take a while. What about his school work?" I say sadly.

"His mom and principal are working it out. Come on another day of learning awaits!" Ezra said causing the rest of us to groan as he pushed us into the building.

School was a s**t show. Kids were acting dumb and crazy. Everyone was scared about the outcome of everything, we didn't learn anything we just talked about the outcomes of everything going on. I just wanted to go to Astronomy Club and see the stars.

"Honey, what time are we supposed to head to Astronomy Club?" I asked as we walked.

"We meet at the school at 7:00, to show newcomers where to go, but I can just take you. " Honey said slinging his arm around my neck.

"We won't get in trouble?" Honey shook his head.

"Nah the teacher in charge would be excited." Honey said.

"If you say so." I mumbled out.

"You don't trust me Mini-Titaness?, " Honey asked while pouting at me.

"Of course I trust you. I was just asking." I say elbowing him in his side.

We joke as we walked to my house and I pout, "I'm gonna be by myself tonight. My aunt took Ida to a baby slumber party with her friends and Estella is sleeping over at her friend's house." Then I started humming Lonely.

"Is this your way of asking us to stay with you?" Dai asked trying to hide a small smile.

"If I wanted you guys to stay I would've just asked for you guys to stay, so no." I bluntly stated.

"Why are you so mean?" Ezra and Honey asked at the same time. I open my mouth to respond, but Honey tripped on the sidewalk and almost brought me down with him.

"Why are you trying to kill me?" I ask after Ezra helped me up.

"Sorry." Honey apologized sheepishly.

"Wait beautiful we passed your house." Ezra called out as Honey and I walked.

"Oh, shot you're right. Wasn't paying attention." I turned around and walked to my door.

"Jeez Tsubaki I knew you were a little slow, but passing your own house, that's a new low." Dai said, I just flipped him off and waved bye to the others.
