Late Night Visitor

Alone, by myself! Until Monday! This is weird. I thought as I shuffled around my house eating ice cream straight from the pint. And it's only 2, maybe I really should've had them stay with me. I puff out my lip and hide my ice cream pint. I don't have any homework, I don't have chores, I don't have sibling responsibilities, my Mom's not in town, maybe I could design some dresses to wear I haven't done that in a while. I haven't had time to do what I really love in a while. I walk upstairs into my room and into my closet to grab a sketchbook with all my designs in it. I haven't drawn anything in this since I was thirteen. I sat on my bed and set an alarm for six-thirty. I got lost in my drawings and before long it was six-thirty. I get up and stretch hearing a couple of pops and crackles from my body as I got up. As I get up from my bed I take my sketchbook with me and overlook my drawings. I sigh, these will never see the light of day. I drop my sketchbook back on my bed and go downstairs to eat some actual food. I should eat before I leave or start preparing dinner for when I get home or should I be a fatass/lazyass and order from my favorite restaurant. Decisions, decisions, and not a lot of time. I look at the time hearing a knock at the door and check the time to see that it's six-fifty. I climb the stairs to see a head of blond hair in the window and I shake my head smiling slightly. I go upstairs fully to grab my phone, keys, and turn off the lights. I open the door and Honey smiles. "I know I'm early but we can start walking together, unless you really wanna wait till seven." "I wouldn't have opened the door, c'mon." Honey sheepishly smiled as we began walking. We spent the entire walk talking and joking, before the conversation turned serious. "Why do you trust us so much?" Honey asked stopping at the entrance of the black iron bridge with a lamp hanging down in the center. "What do you mean?" "I could've been leading you to a setup, or to your death. What makes you think I can be trusted." "If you were going to kill me, you wouldn't have stopped here or you could've just killed me in my home and taken the back trails to the local dumping grounds and you feel familiar to me. I don't know why, but you do. My memory f*****g sucks." I say rolling my eyes and he smiles a little bit, "What brought this on?" "Morbid curiosity." Honey said shrugging his shoulders. "I get that way too, but to answer your other question, you guys have earned my trust and even protected me. My sisters like you from what I see. You guys just haven't given me a reason not to trust you." I ended with a shrug and pulled him across the bridge, "At least from the two weeks that I've been back at Sunny Hill." Honey and I laughed at the nonchalant shrug I just had. "Now the first time we meet up for club, we don't go stargazing we just talk and do ice breakers outside. We usually go later depending on the weather and the sky." "That's fine. I'm excited either way and it's cooler since you're here with me!" Honey's face turned red and could only nod at words as we reached the other club members. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "That's all for tonight, you're dismissed! I'll send out an email of any changes or anything." There was a chorus of goodbyes to the teacher in charge and the others. Honey and I wave goodbye as we began walking back to my house. "You aren't cold?" Honey asked eyeing my dress and I shook my head. "I was with you since earlier and now you're asking if I'm cold. You're weird." I say chuckling at Honey, "It's only August it's still warm." "You're right, I want it to be October already. Rodas plans the best parties and I always look forward to them." "I hope that asshole gets locked up soon so Rodas can come back to school." Honey agreed and we just started talking about different school events and then it led to colleges, but we didn't finish talking because we were at my house. "Thanks, Honey! I'll catch you at school on Monday." Honey waved bye as he saw me enter. I go upstairs to shower and begin ordering Chinese food and getting something for Estella when she comes back. Which would be Monday, for both of them, so I have a weekend to myself. I don't know what I should do with that information. I could play video games in peace, but it's not the same without Estella being my copilot. Bruh my life really revolves around these two munchkins. I really don't have a life. I sigh as the water hits my skin. Well, I'll just find something to do and enjoy myself without them. I get out and change into my pajamas which consisted of a big white tee and shorts. There was a ring on my doorbell. That was fast. I saw a head of white hair at the door and walked down the steps confused, "Daisuke?" "Are you gonna let me bleed out or let me in?" his words made me look at him carefully, and saw he had blood, I didn't second guess my decision to pull him into my home and leading him into my room. Rushing into the bathroom I return with the first aid kit and see him staring at my ceiling. "I'm not gonna ask how or why you ended up like this. Just tell me where you got hurt." Daisuke stared at me, before lifting his shirt showing off a shallow cut, but deep enough to cause him to bleed out the way he was. "I'm sorry this gonna hurt," he said nothing and looked away from me. I was tempted to punch him where his cut was. He didn't even flinch as I cleaned, stitched, and dressed his wound. After I was done he stared at me and I started feeling uncomfortable so I started cleaning my desk and floor feeling his eyes following every movement I made. "What if I was a killer? I could've killed you." Daisuke suddenly spoke. His tone was cold and dark. It sent shivers down my spine. He continued speaking as I didn't say anything, "I could easily make you disappear right now, especially with that stunt you pulled the first day. I know you've heard the rumors about me already, but you still came to my aid without a second thought." I stayed silent continuing to clean, "I'm asking you a question Tsubaki. I expect an answer of some sort." He said grabbing my chin in between his thumb and index finger, making me look at him. I push his hand away, "I don't have to answer. But if I did, it's because you're hurt. Do I need any other reason?" I got up and walked away to put the items away, "You're my friend." I sat on my bed with my sketchbook. I saw Dai's eyes soften slightly. "You can leave if you want to be so mysterious and keep up your bad boy persona." I shoo him. His eyes hardened once more and he glared at me with a sickly sneer in return and I shrugged continuing to design some clothes that never see the light of day. It was tense and quiet between us and I only colored harder. The room-filling up with the sound of our breathing and my aggressive coloring. "What are you doing over there?" I slightly glance up at Dai. "Drawing." I answered curtly, he opened his mouth to say something back when my doorbell rang, "Sorry that's my dinner." I get up and walk out of my room. On the stairs, I see the delivery car and I rush into the kitchen to get the stash of money there. I opened the door taking the food and handing him the change and tip, "Thank you, have a good night." "Have a good night as well." He waved goodbye as he walked back to his car. I put Estella's food in the fridge then walked upstairs to my room. I walk in to see Dai holding my sketchbook.
