Park

After dropping Rodas off, I ended up taking my sisters to the park with the other boys. "Hey Asteria, I didnt say anything earlier, but you were really brave today," Ezra said as I pushed Ida in the baby swing. "Brave? I call that idiotic, impulsive, and unnecessary. There was no need for you to step into Rodas' business like that." Honey jumped in. "I'm impulsive like that sometimes. I don't like sitting back and watching something I could have stopped. I was prepared to kick him in his little d**k. I don't know why, but I've always been this way." I said shrugging, I start making silly faces at Ida and she starts giggling. "I'm surprised you didn't say anything Dai," I said giving the male a side glance before turning my attention back onto Ida and Estella. "I don't comment on everything Tsubaki. It's not my place to," he said something else but he mumbled it under his breath, but I guess the other two heard it judging by their smiles. "Whatever. Estella let's go!" I picked Ida up and took my bag back from Ezra, since he was so determined to hold my bag as I pushed Ida and Estella's bag as she played. I hear Estella whine, but collects her bag from Ezra. As we walk Ezra and Estella are cracking jokes and laughing. Honey was making faces at Ida and Dai was having a discussion about how cool the Occult club would be next Thursday. "I'm sorry but it's really bugging me that we got dismissed from school super early. We should've been sent home because of an incident like that." "Oh the store owner got killed and the principal probably just didn't want to spook you guys out," Estella said jumping in. "Wait, how did you know that?" Estella was good when it came to getting information, I'm honestly not surprised. "There were police cars that passed by my school and one of the kids who typically goes to the store found a bunch of police outside and there was blood everywhere. Some are saying that the guy who got strung up on the flag pole did it. Also, a student went missing, I forget their name, but yeah a kid went missing." Estella shrugged her shoulders like it was the most nonchalant thing ever. "What the hell do I live under a rock?" "No, you're really obvious to things, so I guess it's the same thing as living under a rock." I open my mouth to retort, but the more I thought about it, I can be really dense when it comes to my surroundings. "I hate when you're right. Do you wanna go to the market and get snacks, since the store is y' know closed?" I needed to get things for the house anyway, might as well get snacks for Estella so she stops stealing mine from my room. "Yes!" I smiled at her enthusiasm and turned to the three boys. "I don't wanna keep y'all, I have errands to run and I don't want to keep you longer than I already have." They brushed it off, Dai was the one to say something. "Tsubaki, you just found out there might be a psychopath around here and you just admitted to being oblivious at times. You're smoking c***k if you think you're being left alone, with your sisters. Plus we like hanging out with you and your sister is pretty funny, I guess." I felt my face heat up slightly, and I saw Estella wiggle her eyebrows and my face felt hotter. "Thanks, Dai, you too Ezra and Honey. I'm always told I'm boring, so it's nice to hear someone say they like hanging out with me. Thanks for being nice." The three males smiled and had light blushes slightly crossing their faces. "Asteria! I want snacks! Stooop flirting with your boy toys!" "ESTELLA!" "I don't care! You're gonna end up being with one of them!" "ESTELLA PAMELA GRAYBELL!" "You're yelling cause I'm right." "If I wasn't holding Ida, I'd wack you. Screw you." Estella giggled and shrugged as I glared at her. We reach the market and Estella grabs a cart and I place Ida in, after wiping it down, and the boys stood near us as I walked the aisles. Estella went to the chip aisle with Dai while Ezra and Honey stayed with me. They walked beside me with shopping carts of their own and said they needed to do some shopping of their own. Honey suddenly smiled like he just came up with the greatest idea ever. "Cart racing." It almost sounded like a whisper but it was loud enough for Ezra and me to catch it, but barely. "What?" I had to make sure I heard him correctly. "Cart racing. Text your sister and tell her to come back here, this is gonna be great." Honey said more excitedly, slightly bouncing. I text Estella and we wait for them to come back. Estella and Dai come into the aisle and Honey ushered them closer. "What Honey, I hope this is somewhat important." "It is! Remember in middle school when we would do cart racing? There are three carts, and three sisters, we each take one, grab what need and see who the fastest one out of here wins." Dai, Ezra, Estella, and I looked at one another. "What does the winner get?" I asked skeptically, narrowing my eyes at Honey. He shrugged, "I don't know yet, maybe the winning team bosses around the losers, with the exception of Ida." Slowly I beginning nodding my head to the idea of it. "So who goes with who?" Estella immediately grabbed Ezra's arm, indicating that she wanted him. Honey latched onto me, "I call Asteria!" Dai gave a glance toward Ida and she said. "Doughnut." Making him turn to me and glare, all I could do was smile and shrug. "All the girls in the cart and we'll start," Ezra said, lifting Estella (with her permission of course) in to the cart and I prepared to hop in, but Honey picked me up and placed me inside and I felt my face burn slightly. I turn back to look at Honey, "Thank you." before whipping back around to the front, but I could feel him smiling behind me. "Alright, ladies and gents, on your marks, get set... GO!" At Honey's word, the three racers took off, racing down the same aisle, before splitting off looking for their stuff, trying to be first. It helped that there weren't a lot of people inside of the market today. I would feel bad if we hit anyone, but I would laugh first, but I would feel bad. I told Honey which aisles to go to and he went to the aisles he needed to go down, once in a while hearing the squeak of the other carts racing around. Honey and I finish, then head to the self-checkout and go outside, Honey pulls to the side and we start cheering. "You guys came in second place, nice try though." I hear a voice to the side of us, I look over and see Dai with Ida in the cart. My jaw dropped, surprised, that means we lost. I walk over to his cart and there's barely anything in there. "This stinks! I don't wanna be bossed around by the Powdered King." "How is me bossing you around different than 'owing me two favors'? It's the same idea technically isn't it?" Powdered King asked, and I had to think about it. He was technically, low-key, right, but I'm not gonna tell him that he is right though. "I don't see it. I'm not gonna argue though, so agree to disagree?" "You little-" "Team E wins!" I turn and see Estella and Ezra outside cheering, time to pop their bubble. "You guys came in last place." The three of us say in unison. "Damn, why did we get so much stuff?" Ezra sighed out. "Oh well let's take the carts and go to your house Asteria." "Wait, we can't steal the carts, that's wrong." Doughnut huffed at my response. "It's not stealing if we're bringing it back." Honey waited for me to say anything and when I didn't he spoke once more, "EXACTLY let's ride!" Honey said cutting in, putting me back into the cart and we ride till we reach my house. The guys help Estella and I bring in the groceries, once they were done we waved them off, watching them ride off in the carts. Estella put away the groceries while I dealt with Ida and the three of us sat down on the couch and watch some movies before bed.
